so we got bang bang bang last week and a bing going out.

This week we need to see what SISU do as our squad is still small for a serious promotion challenge.

How many more will exit Ryton this week and will we get anymore in.

They say the £500k they got from Newcastle will be re-invested but god knows what that means.

I am half expecting Keogh to be off this week.

We had a decent week with our signings but we need more. Let's see what this week brings .

By the end of this week i think the bulk of the team that will be around for the start of the season will be here!

Scottish trip isn't for a team waiting for players to join up its for the squad to go as one, another 3 or 4 in this week with Keogh leaving if the price is right!

The money from Gael will go into everything remember, Fisher said on CWR the academy has recently gone from a Category 3 academy to a Category 2 academy money will be put into that as wlel as the first team.

Sisu don't do signings, they set the budget. Its up to AT to use the budget!

Yes - usually "you can spend zero pounds on transfers, and bring in loans provided the other club pays their wages".

Whose paying the wages for the 3 signings to date? Or are they going to be claiming state benefits?

Maybe the saved wages on the various departures will go some way towards it. Just a thought.........

Wagot said we have a playing budget (fees and salaries) that is closer to 4m than 1.4m. That means between 2.75 & 4m.

What does that mean? Are there actual rankings based on how an academy is set up or performs?

With the likes on Cranie and Clingan gone means you can 4-5 players in on L1 wages for just those 2.

Keogh is now part of a bidding war which is good in terms of use getting as much money as we can for a player with 1 year left on the contract. Would have been great to lead the team in L1 but he deserves to playing at a higher level.

A friend at work is a Preston fan and he says the fans are really upset by all the changes. They have no faith in the manager and think the club is run by a moron (Risdale). Does any of this sound familiar! PUSB

You get an extra £270k funding if you are category 2 as opposed to 3. If you get to Category 1 i think you then get another £300k of funding. Its to do with the EPPP.
