I have absolutely full confidence in Andy, I can't wait to see who his signings are.

Gunnarsson, Fox, Dann, Westwood, Clingan, Baker, Hussey, Deegan, and so on. All picked out by Thorn when scouting.

No, Thorn was chief scout at the time and recommende them to ranson.

Is he goin to manage the scouting and team management at the same time over a whole season?? I know he said Wednesday he thinks he will but its gonna be one hell of an ask i think.

I'm almost 100% certain Ranson said in his parting interview on BBC C&W when he was naming the team that could have been and the players that were sold he said "Dann & Fox two players that i brought in no one else, to be taken away from the club without my vote" if someone could dig the interview out it would be appreciated.

He was making the point that it as him signed them and not Dowie and not about who spotted them first

I too believe that Thorn has an eye for a decent player, and he has certainly shown in the last two months that he knows how they should be utilised! It is worth noting that he has not been associated with some of our less successful signings, although all successful coaches/managers/scouts have bought turkeys in the past. Success has many fathers but failure is an orphan. I am going to have to change my user name based on one of Thorns turkeys! Hello all by the way.
