It's bigger than the manager. We finished the game today with 3 right backs and Nathan Cameron at the back, McSheffrey (who is supposed I be a City fan) strolling around like we were 4-0 up and David Bell.
The sad thing is that was probably our strongest team.
Gotta say I thought Sheff did well today and Bell wasn't bad. As for Thorn, I'm saddened to say I agree. Changing it when we're 2-0 down is pointless and our goals came from mistakes - good finishes mind.
We can't even compete with donny on wages.
Sorry Thorny. You don't have my support anymore.
I am literally speechless that you think Sheffers was OK today. He had a spell just after we scored but to stroll around like he did an leave a kid exposed at fullback all game was disgusting. Withdraw his contract offer and tell him to feck off to Nuneaton with the rest of the players from his academy years.
Think we all agree there mate but, the simple fact of the matter is, that they are not going to go before recouping some money. The question is, how do they do that? Is it asset striping prior to sale or on sale itself? The current indications are on the former; in which case it is going to be some time before we see the back of them!it doesn't matter if the fucking manager was mickie mouse himself, sacking the manager will only pospone getting rid of sisu scum, when are some cov fans going to learn that killing the message boy does not work, we need to get rid of sisu NOW...
Tankie; you get this exactly right my friend. In similar circumstances , I would have been first in line. calling for the managers head, But who is out there! that would be able to fashion miracles, from a squad of talented, but inexperienced kids, We've had the Colemans, the Boothroyds, the Adams's and the Dowie's, all to the same end,..Failure and pretty awful football to go with it.
As green and naive as he is, Thorn has tried to bring a little pleasure in watching the Sky Blues, playing the game as it should be played, I have nightmares every night that Coleman returns, to brain wash us with that catatonic, ultra negative Rubish.
Thorn isn't perfect, but is working with untempered tools, as Sisu force him to fill our shop window, with some of our up and coming stars in preparation for the January sales.
Yes I am aware! that its a results game, and Thorn isn't getting them, but don,t you feel he,s being used as some sort of patsy, by Sisu, who will surely cut him loose, sometime in the near future, as they play the"Blame game" Its a pity we cant lay the "blame game" on the rightful culprits, the "mighty unconcerned Sisu" who really don't give a Toss, which league we play in.
In any outcome, "Thanks for trying Andy"
Tankie
He made more tackles in midfield today than our other player I thought. He looked fairly lively on the attack too - there were some good through balls which he ran onto.
I see the same old point being made yet again. So we lost our four best players after finishing 18th? We only finished as high as 18th after Thorn took over.
