He said he would get us out of the championship!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
About the only thing he got right all season
Did AT make his comments about SISU after the millwall game knowing they will be gone soon? Now he is letting the new owners know he would be happy to stay on. If anyone at the club would know what is going on I would expect AT to know.
I was thinking exactly the same. Strange but the little outburst gave me reassurances that sisu are off
Thorns Management CV......1ST management role..coventry city football club.. 2011-2012..outcome...relegation... say no more..
Be great if Sisu were off and we had owners who backed Thorn.
Still think there would be the minority out there trotting out the same old "he's a scout not a manager" blah blah blah
I love going to watch City and probabley will get a season ticket, think I'm just a bit pissed off like most people but I just don't want to give my hard earned cash to them useless bastards.SISUBought mine today, I will always go, no matter what. Their is nothing I would rather do than watch the "City"

Yeah life's really simple isn't it........
Nelson Mandela decades in prison must be a criminal.
Good logic.
So all of you guys saying he's a scout not a manager when you all got your first job did you all know instantly how to do it cause I didn't I made mistakes like thorn has but considering all that I think he did an outstanding job look at the football we are playing I haven't seen that for years just imagine what he could do with money and backing

But he is? Proven by his tactics! If we got investment i would rather a manager who can change games with decisions, set up a team properly!
back end of last season with a bit more quality and depth he got us on a good run and deserved the job this season if he had the same squad this season and was able to bring in the players he got then i think we would have done very well as the players he got in have done very well.
Thorn and Harrison I think are tactically poor prime example using the diamond formation for so long when everyone in the ground could see it wasnt working you have to change formations dependent on which team you are playing. Before people start saying he didn't have the players to play any other shape is bollocks.I do think when Sheffers went upfront that was the best he played all season but Thorn decided to move him out of that position after scoring in two games on the bounce.I'm not a thorn hatter just want a manager that has a little more experience.ie Lee Clark

Didn't hear you saying that after burnley with his triple substitution that got us a pointBut he is? Proven by his tactics! If we got investment i would rather a manager who can change games with decisions, set up a team properly!
He will stay in charge for what he has done this season is remarkable considering the circumstances having all limbs tied behind this back at Christmas we would have all taken being 5 points of safety with 2 games left, imagine what he can do with time and investment, just look at the quality of players he has brought to the attention of the club in his role of head scout, too sack him would be terrible we have sacked managers every year for the last 10. Years and it has got us nowhere IN AT WE BELIEVE
He never failed he was sacked for losing a couple of games on the bounce when they were still in a play off position. Then they brought a manager in that's done worse.Just what I think.Thorn done well when we had better players ie end of last season. We lost them players and I don't think he got the best of what was left, I agree with he had no one else and SISU didn't help by selling our top striker at Xmas.IMO he wouldn't get us back up who could Fecknose tbh

How naive. Thorn worships at the Temple of SISU. They are the only game in town. As if any serious investor would want him as the manager.
I think given the level of budget and expectation I would keep him. We've kept him as a raw unproven now he is more experienced and like our youth players who have improved this season, I'm sure as a coach he too will have benefitted from the experience and albeit we will be playing at a lower level. However, to call getting relegated a remarkable achievement whichever way you dress it up is beyond ridiculous.
You honestly think he loves SISU, the way they've treated him ?Thorn worships at the Temple of SISU.

Thorn is employed as a manager and is a manager.
Like it or lump it.

The way they have treated him? Giving him a job no other club in any lifetime at the level we are/were at would EVER have given him and keeping him despite abject failure. If one person has gained anything from those shysters it's him.You honestly think he loves SISU, the way they've treated him ?
