And the point is?

I drove, on the way, one of my windscreen wipers packed up, had to do the rest of the journey with the passenger wiper only for about 5 miles.. Watched dogshit. Called the AA, windscreen link fixed after about 2 hours wait.. Got in at 9.30pm.. Textbook day.. Needless to say, they can fuck right off now!

1. We paid £25 for unreserved seating, no back on seats, limited views due to supports.
2. Stewards maded us sit in certain blocks, said the police had told them to do it this way, this caused a bottle neck. My wife asked a police office who said it was a club decision to change things around.
3. Catering amd toliets far from good enough for this amount of supporters. The head Steward in the away end said they had never had to look after this amount of away support before and confirmed the police had made them change from unreserved to reserved.
4. Paid £10 to park coaches and told they would pick us up outside ground, we were then sent on a 20 min walk in pouring rain over a dual carriageway and an industrial estate. Asked which way a few times and most had no idea where we were being sent. At the Coaches my wife and I asked the two officers on the gate and they said the club had booked this area only this morning and had no idea why we were sent so far away to get on them.

It seems Bristol were/are not set up for away support, they treated us like idiots, let own supportes in for £10 and then on top of that played better than us and probably sent us down. Have been before to this ground and its one of the worse in the league, no organisation or planning.
Am sitting at work now writing a letter to Bristol City and the Football league. I know its a waste of time but am very angry.

I imagine that most people were just glad to come back alive what with those fearsome Bristol hooligans we were told so much about. Living in a quiet genteel town like Coventry makes us very naive and trips to a metropolis like Bristol is full of dangers

Lets be honest, City are not going to give you 4 star luxury seating / day.

They will want you to have the worse experience due to their survival hopes... And all this moaning seems to have worked. :claping hands:

Great day out up until kick off, all I can remember about the game is the atmosphere was fucking awful and I heard about 15 half-arsed attempts at singing "Play Up Sky Blues" cause it seemed to be the only song that anybody knew the words too. Watched my team basically throw away all the hard work they've done over the last 7/8 games and probably confirm us to Division Three next season. Left the ground, lost my mates, walked round Bristol for an hour and half whilst it was pissing it down trying to find the boozer they were in. Got back to Cov, went on the piss didn't get home till 5 am - best bit about the day.

Been there are few times. Drove down from Cheshire, straight forward run to be honest considering I have to go via M6/M5. Road were good till the out side of Bristol, M32 had a mass of roadworks. Easy street parking, 5/10 mins walk to the ground. The ground itself is knackered, the away end has always been horrid, but then we've never taken that many fans there before, so it never bothered me in the past. I could always fine somewhere without stairing at a pillar. Toilets to small, drinks expensive (coffee, tea), but you get ripped off most places. Cigarette smoker love it cause they have have an half time fag. Got shoaked walking back to the car, idiot stewards wanted to send me the wrong way, but I knew better. Over all the trip was fine, the ground is shit, but I've been to worst, Luton springs to mind, and the team were dire. Burnley here we come, yes, that is another dump.....

Stayed overnight in Bristol, £25 ticket for a shit view just seeing the net bulge you knew it was a goal, went with some family who were Bristol.Rovers fans and they were giving them as much shit as us.
Drinking was alright went Nova Scotia but like a living room and heaving so ended up in the Pumphouse abit dear but decent.
Watched Cov with no bollocks in 2nd half, got absouletly drenched got into Pumphouse to drown my sorrows soaking wet love being a Cov fan.
Went onto few more bars the onto Wetherspoons, got mixing with some Bristol City fans who were top but giving the odd dig with a smirk:slap:
All in all- Shit weather, shit football, soaked, good company, good boozers.........Still can't believe our 2nd half performance and still hurting and back to work 2nite:claping hands:.

I've had a few good nights out in Brizzle, but I was just there for the day with three mates yesterday. Parked down the road and went for a couple in the Hen & Chickens. Both fine. Nice to have an array of boozers and eateries on the walk down... highlighted some deficiencies with the Ricoh. I was on the second row back and the view was fairly toss. You couldn't get perspective on things and didn't quite have a handle on where the pitch boundaries were. Thought the Bristol fans were very quiet in the first half, but I know that my fellow City fans are not always the noisiest when we are 1 goal down either. Thought we made a bit of noise and it was nice to see our allocation full. Had no real beef with the coppers or stewards not letting people exit the ground to the right... it provided a slight smirk as one of the coppers told one bloke this and he calmly explained 'I am Sky Blues Sam, mate, I need to go and get my outfit'. The copper duly let him pass. There must have been a briefing or something. It pissed it down for the duration of the walk back and would have been thoroughly miserable if not for the remaining alcohol I had to maintain my status as a passenger on a day off.

Turned my PC on. Opened up fox sports. Watched the game. Didn't pay £25 and didn't get wet!

Did the same, Fair play to our fans filling the away end though. Such a shame the boy's were to tired to compete in the 2nd half. If people think Bristol's bad wait until next season when were visiting Yeovil etc.

Absolutely shit ground and horrible area around the ground. Got completely soaked but was proud of the City support.

As Andy Thorn said "the games have caught up with us". We don't have a squad thanks to the SISU scum and their oh so clever 'cost cutting'. Morons.

All in all one of the worst days supporting City.

Went down with a mate on the £10 coaches and got to the Rose of Denmark for half 12/1; took us half an hour to get a drink as the bar was jam packed but the cider was good. Took us forever to find the ground which we only managed by following some home fans (that old trick), and took seats up towards the back which meant our view was terrible. We could just about make out when goals had gone in but we couldn't really see anything at the front (not that we threatened anything in the 2nd half anyway). Seriously pissed me off watching us let in yet another tap in from 6 yards just minutes after the restart and the rest of the 2nd half was a complete disgrace that I found difficult to stand and watch (not just because of the crap view)-left me thinking what I thought after Reading, Leicester and Brighton; why do I keep blowing money on this team? Really hurts seeing my club in the state it's in.

Went down the cedars, had a drink with some mates, came home. Was gutted that they more or less relegated us but at least i didnt blow 40 odd quid watching that shite. Quite glad i couldnt get a ticket in the end

Decent experience having few pints at the cricket ground bar until a kid fainted next to me, then had to sit in bristol end for match. Full of complete cunts and a shit day out, everyone i was surrounded by was a dickhead. bad bad day even without our terrible performance.

I was near that lad too, i'm assuming it was his dad with him, looked like it had happened before as he seemed to know what to do. He looked ok after he got some colour back in his cheeks.

Left mine in West Wales about 10.30, pissed it down all the way, met Kingharvest in the cricket club (£4 to park) about 12.30, couple of pints then 10 minute walk to the ground. Managed to get a decent spot, forgot how shitty them 'seats' were. Good turn out from us, good atmosphere but downhill after they equalised, got soaked on the way to the car, pretty quick to get out the car park as it goes seeing as we were at the back, home by half 7. Sore throat and a tooth ache. Shit one.

Payed £1 evern though I'm 17 imp:

Journey there was fine, payed £5 to park in an offsite carpark not far from the ground. After the game, got back in the car & no-one moved for 1hour 45mins. Then, when we did finally get the chance to move, the satnav couldn't get a signal so we tried making our own way around. We went the wrong way for 10 minutes and then finally found our way on to the M5. Stopped at a services and got some dapper krispy-kreme doughnuts.

Took umbrella with me as it was going to piss down. Taken off me at the turnstile as it is a dangerous weapon according to the copper. Ok no problem as I can pick it up from the police hut afterwards. No sign of it when I went to get it after the match. I was asked for the coppers name and number! Had no idea! Cost more than my fucking ticket the stealing c""ts!
