Cloud cuckoo land springs to mind, survival - it is not in our own hands and has not been for about 3 months which is why we are in the relegation zone for nearly the whole season.
Forget Blackburn Rovers breaking free, they got themselves a certain Mr Eric Black as Steve Keans number two to do that, we on the other hand are lumbered with a crap manager, make your own mind up
We're 3 points off with probably the best fixtures of all - how is that cloud cuckoo land. I'm not sure if we'll manage it but it's very possible.
Oh yeah also - imagine what the previous managers would have done with this bunch! Imagine what Cotterill would achieve with them!

Sorry to be a party pooper, if the two teams below us win the game in hand they have over us then we are bottom , we will be relegated win lose or draw on Saturday irrespective.
I have accepted league one already and the reasons as why we will be there a few months back
Pointless comment others may have done better. You would struggle to find a manager who could do worse on our travels and as that will be the main factor if we go down thorn will have serious questions to answer. He can't hide behind anything if they end up with a mid table home record.
Cotterill's team scored 7 at Elland Road-until Wednesday, that was as many away goals as we had scored all season.
It seems Thorn is untouchable, my previous post about Blackburn and Eric Black was to demonstrate a move with the manager could have made a difference.
1. We will survive by getting four more points than Bristol do over the rest of the season. We will probably have to get something off both Portsmouth and Donny to do it but it is patently possible.
2. I have never understood how anyone can say AT is a poor manager. He has been working with sh*t. The loan players he has been allowed to bring in (almost too late, but luckily before the embargo kicked in) have made a difference. That's good management surely?
3. We will do it.
Always responding to people who contradict your arguments with insults eh Rich? Speak a word against Thorn and be damned for all eternity.
I'm not saying he's God, I'm stating that his team put 7 past Leeds on their own turf. I'm tired of repeating myself when any criticism of the man meets over the top, SISU are the devil comments from yourself. Home form good, away form terrible. Good home form makes away form indefensible. SISU are not 100% to blame for everything wrong at CCFC.
...all he gets for his efforts is over the top critisism. Fook me, he would have been better not getting results with the threadbare squad at home so the most thoughtless of us couldn't use this as an excuse of why he is so shite
And some of the more realistic ones of us that noticed our team from last year did not start this year. They were not replaced. AT brought kids through to cover the gaps. Then all he gets for his efforts is over the top critisism.

But Blackburn haven't changed their manager! Are you all there?!
More like talk complete nonsense and be damned.
Totally unreasonable.
I would have a quick check on the management set up at Blackburn and my previous post in the thread mate before commenting next time mate

I think that's the point. Regardless of the results or performances, he would have your unconditional support. That's not astute or objective behaviour - it is cultish.
As George Michael one said "wake me up before you go-go". Sorry, wrong quote, "you've got to have faith".
No, what he said was "wa*k me off before you go go" but that's bye the bye.
If we escape relegation this year it will probably be considered the best relegation escape of all times for us. I hope we do but if it means we are in exactly the same position 12 months down the line, let's go down this year and compete with teams we stand a chance of beating on a regular basis. I'm sure that's half the problem with the players, they have little or no self belief coz we're either beaten every week or concede a lead in the last 10 minutes.
Only one great escape, 1985

I have never seen anyone say AT is faultless, but lost count of comments saying it is so. If we would have had the quality of Forests bench as choice for our 1st team then I would question him more. Why are we doing better now than the 1st half of the season? Nothing to do with the quality of our loan players is it????? We now have a link from midfield to the goal. We now have a couple of quality players that can change a game. If we had a player that could knock the ball in the back of the net with consistancy we would have climbed up the table.
Some of you will never see the good in us though. Just keep highlighting what you see as our worse points, i.e. AT.
But if we did it this year, would it be comparable? It would be a pretty big achievement to escape this year!
comparable sure but better?
1985 everyone else has finished and you have 3 games, you must win every one, that was pretty special. Plus that was to stay in the top flight. Good debate though
