hopefully, but wasn´t the overall state of play (the "attractive" style of play) what kept him in the job?
Then the final league position would be what they don´t want this year again!?
I dont like losing blueflint but it happens, upsets happen, teams lose to lower division teams but if they lose having given it a good go, having played a decent game, having been a team then i find it more acceptable. Friendlies throw up strange results but if the players are not "at it" then that points to future struggles so thats why the performance bothers me more.
I dont think Yeovil away will be a pushover i agree and it wouldnt surprise me if we lost
That said there is a definite losing mentality at the club that needs to be cured ...... we should set out to win every game even if it is 5 a side!
Nope didnt go to this one ............ but what rich87 was quoting me on had very little to do with saturday if you read it. But then AT was there and i am actually agreeing with what he was quoted as saying in the press. 20 days before the season starts it is more than just fitness.
I would disagree with you as to the basis of what i expressed ..... it wasnt formed last season its more to do with the limited knowledge i have as a qualified coach
Given we've just lost a couple of pre-season friendlies I think AT should have put a stronger team out at Boro', enough to win and raise confidence levels.
He did the opposite & the effect will be the opposite. I think he made a mistake, the first team squad have not played enough to be tired.
I thought you were going going to tell us how much you love Bob Marley
