I think there's got to be contingencies otherwise it's not a very good plan is it?!

Nobody could have foreseen Robins doing what he did, this was completely out of the boards hands.

It's pretty obvious that the rent issue was a priority for this season too and again, nobody could have foreseen the amount of time it has been taking to resolve.

There have been set backs but this time, at least it isn't totally down to mismanagement at board level and there have been external factors involved.

I think the sooner the rent is resolved the better. In terms of the squad, we have signed a few decent players, Adams sticks out in my mind. If we don't gain promotion this season, I still feel that we have the makings of one of the best squads in the division. We need a few additions, granted - more fire power up front and solidity at the back. Hopefully we can keep hold of Bailey and one or two other midfielders. I don't think a complete re-vamp is in order if we remain in this division. Should we gain promotion then, there will need to be major improvements but I would have thought that Play-Off money can subsidise that.

In terms of cost-cutting, we have done pretty well in that respect. Most long-termers have accepted new deals whilst our new-comers are on contracts that reflect our current circumstances.

Again, for me, the biggest worry is the rent and in income streams. If that doesn't resolve, we will have an even tighter budget to work with in regards to playing staff and possibly our viability as a club at all could be called into question.

We have meandered but I feel we are still going forward. Certainly a million mile away from where we were this time last year.

pretty sure QPR will have had a 3 year plan to get into the champions league, and they are going down with players on a reported 100k a week

Fact is we are in this division for another season, after that, we could be going up, down, or more likely, be in here again in 2015

Operation Premiership. Private Seat Licence?

What concerns me is that this season is very similar to the 1st season after relegation from the Premiership. Bad start, followed by sacking the manager with a recovery resulting ultimately in failure to reach the play offs. If everything follows the same path we're in for 10 seasons in this division with worsening performance and relegation to League 2. With the turmoil in the background, it's hard to feel much optimism at the moment!

The marketing department are probably working on shirts that read "League 1 Tour - so good we'll go again"...

I have always thought we are far more likely to be another Bradford or Oldham, rather than a Leicester or Southampton. A lot of fans saw us as too big for this league and a lot still consider us a Premier League club, which is laughable.

Leicester and Southampton both spent a lot of money to get out of League 1, and invested again in the Championship. There is no one who is going to take us over, and we can't spend money we do not have.

It would not matter if we did have the money ... Fair play rules mean you can't spend it anymore. It is only going to get harder from now on

I agree, I meant since we were relegated to the Championship as well.

A lot of supporters assumed that a takeover would equal a lot of investment in the playing squad and promotion. Considering SISU's past attempts at buying clubs, and the fact that they are a hedge fund, it was obvious that there was not going to be endless piles of money pumped into the club.

It seems a lot of footballers supporters believe that an individual/company should invest endless amounts of money into a club, and then when this runs out they should leave without a fuss, and let someone else waste their money.

Last year was a great success on the field, with the club getting to the FINAL of a major trophy, only to be pipped at the post by a very good Crewe team. In the league, the Sky Blues had immese success on the road and the travelling Sky Blue Army saw some great results and some fantastic goals. The Ricoh was home to some great vicortories over amongst others, a 5 star peformance against Wallsall.

2013-14 will be an exciting time for the club and we urge you to be part of it.

The final of a major trophy?? I must have missed the bit when Crewe were lifting the cup.

I never knew the domestic treble included the JPT. What a load of shit.

Well, after this season I'm not going to bother, I've just had enough of this joke of a club. To be honest I've enjoyed this league more than the championship . This is where we belong and I think we will be here for along time.so until all concerned from all side ACL/ CCC and SISU sort this shit out my hard earned will be staying in my pocket.

I'll renew next season.... come what may, they're my team and I'm stuck with them.

This might be a silly question but is that email a joke?

I only ask as I can't understand how anyone could describe this season as a success. In reality its been a disaster, any if the club thinks they've done well then it only highlights the loser mentality that surrounds it.
