They're obviously running a tight ship this season, hence the break even figure. Unfortunately we wont know until next march when this seasons accounts come out. Fair point about the stadium, but then again we have a cat b academy which I guess most clubs in league one don't have.Do our owners not run a tight ship then?
As we played 5 loanees all season I would think that at least those will only be paid a fraction by CCFC.
I know other teams also have loanees but it is down to who does the better deals.
This would make it pretty hard to work out wages of players without knowing the deals in place for each one, and as we have got rid of most of our high earners I believe ours would be quite low.
Another thought as we do not own the ground our club staff bill will proberly be the least in the league as we have so few.
Hey, if you can't beat them..............Oh and how constructive was your post?
However, if one of the more senior players at the club says that the owners need to back the manager a bit more, but you keep banging that boring arse drum and droning on about the same old shit, I think I'll listen to the player. I'd say he knows a bit more than you, or do you think different?
I guess people ignore what they don't want to hear. Similar when Robins had a pop at the Council when he left. I think he'd know more than you or I, wouldn't he?
Great post and despite one or two blinkered sisu lovers the majority of supporters agree that sisu have destroyed this club.
When are you going to admit that it's a "Two way street" as far as SISU/CCC row goes? Grow up ffs.... I did!(Admit it's a two way street)
I do. SISU are shit owners. I've never said they haven't been. They should never have moved us to Northampton and should have negotiated the rent whilst still paying it.
Now, you admit it's a two-way street. How often have you admitted CCC fucked us over?
Just like me? Could be better, I could moan about ticket prices without actually knowing what they are. Top research. How long ago did I admit it was not just SISU at fault.... 16-18 months ago? Do some research. You're just like Nick, always quick to have a pop yet CBA to research properly. If you had done you will indeed have seen how long ago I admitted both entities were at fault..... Open your f**king eyes mate.

Agree with the rest of what is said in the OP. Prime responsibility for where we are is down to the decisions and objectives of the owners. I see no reason to congratulate the owners either, their input has basically been to say no more funding from us sort yourself out - that's not a financial master plan or even any form of commitment to CCFC, it is a protection of the investors, and leaves the club no choice but to live within its means - the alternative is to go bust.
But on another thread OSB, you've confirmed that they've put in an extra £750k this season. Yes, they should be castigated for previous wrongs (along with Richardson, Council et al) but if they've put an extra £750k in to assist with a promotion push, shouldn't they actually be congratulated on this one?
Yes but I'm gathering that extra money came from the revenue from increased gates.............so from the fans !
Wasn't it money put in by SISU?
Really? Don't remember you EVER saying anything against the council, but apologies if you did. Why not list them? What do you think the council got/did wrong then?
I don't know, first I've heard of it but I doubt it considering their strategy for the last 4 years.
Just to be clear I have never been a SISU advocate or apologist ( I was warning about possible consequences in 2008 when they came in) but people have to ask the right questions and look at facts that are available. Should in my opinion be balanced
Not sure how much additional funding is expected. Seems to a consensus among some it wouldn't have taken much (certainly not millions). So I am going to play devils advocate here and say that SISU/ARVO did provide additional funding for the 2015/16 season
It states very clearly in the 31/05/2015 accounts that SISU & ARVO provided £780k in rolling finance after that date which had been paid down to £530k in February 2016. The note goes on to explain Maddison had been sold so I am assuming the pay down of 250k was from his sales proceeds otherwise link the two
That means on top of increased attendances SISU/ARVO provided 750K additional finance for the 2015/16 season. Now given that the club didn't have many players in June, July 2015, that we didn't actually buy anyone in, but that the major cost of CCFC is wages does that mean the owners actually backed a push for the Championship with significant funding by L1 standards?
Why don't you research and have a look for yourself

You must know, you are writing it off and saying it's from the gates and the fans and not SISU?
Just like me? Could be better, I could moan about ticket prices without actually knowing what they are. Top research.
Errrmmm I asked about ticket prices because I genuinely didn't know. After you said what you paid I browsed through other Clubs websites and found Man City sold Season tickets at the same price as CCFC. Nothing odd in that, and IIRC I didn't moan untill I found out what Man City charged to watch Premiership football.... Did I not?..... like you said... Top Research
fair point sbw. However as discussed on the other thread we are not sure of the purpose of the loan. Also it created some pressure for repayment I think, which meant Maddison was sold. I think in the end people will be disappointed by the sales figure but that's just a guess. I was as I said playing devils advocate so was it £750k with an eye to a promotion push or was it they ran out of money and had to put the sum in because the alternative was administration? Was it also put in on the proviso Maddison or someone was sold ?
I was more agreeing with the way things had gone during 10 years of their stewardship. There is very little there that is to be congratulated on. Very little that has not been knee jerk or under funded. Very little that has not been viewed as what has been in the best interests of the investors rather than best interests of the club.
Shutting off funding then having to put in £750k seems to me like it hasn't been well thought out if it was to cover every day costs. If it was to fund a push up the division then there was a cost to it the sale of Maddison.
I know it is a fact of life in L1 etc but the player sales have been profitable for the club under SISU (not a bad thing financially) but it points to a lack of ambition and team building especially when the sales are to many fans done far too early.
Just thoughts really - others may disagree
Couldn't give you a gold star cc4l so you got a like instead
btw is that absolute zero or just to the nearest figure ?
You are not allowed thoughts on here, you have to be 100% factually correct, all of the time !

You near enough jizzed in your pants when I said kids tickets were £25, not realising it was for the whole season so you could get all angry and worked up. :thinking about:
Lmfao.. It was you squirming because I pulled you up on NOT SAYING it was a Season Ticket...... In a not dissimilar way to you taking the piss when I said about playing Crewe in the JPT again. What round it was, was irrelevant, but you had to jump on the bash SBK bandwagon.
I just assumed people knew it was £25 for a season ticket for a kid, especially when they kick off about the pricing. It was also in reply to somebody talking about season ticket pricing...
Why would I squirm? It was you who thought you had hit an anti ccfc jackpot but was wrong.
Do you mean like I assumed people knew what I meant when saying Crewe in the JPT again?
