When you buy at the stadium on a matchday do they have pre-printed tickets and just give you the next one or is it the same as at the Butts where you can select your seat?
If they're pre-printed that might be why they don't sell tickets for other matches.
i went on Saturday intending to walk up and pay on the gate. Arrived about 2 and realised they were selling in the Wasps shop. There was a small wait, although about 8 computer terminals most were dealing with tickets collection. I got served in about 5 minutes. Tickets were preprinted but I had a choice. Got seats in block 21 row NN brilliant seats almost on half way line.
We were in the ground for about 2.15. Beer no wait served. Next Pie no wait served. Eat drink, read programme, take seats. Watched with interest Peterborough warm up....that told you how they would play and that they would settle quickly. Also knew their no 10 was good with the ball. He Kept getting annoyed that he his practice shots were floating just over the bar....well he got it perfect in gametime didn't he! It was definitely a rehearsed move.
There are advantages about turning up a little bit early, no stress for a start.
Think its worth us sending over an email to Old Timothy Fisher? Still have his email address from the moaning I did a few years back, how about we put a few idea together whether they are technical or the idea of self service machines around the city? HE may appreciate a positive email for once of fans trying to help.
Northampton game - Just in case anyone is waiting to buy seats that are still currently reserved for ST holders, they will be released on Friday morning according to the club.
What utter shite set up they have Butt's has one printer and the server there was down today.
They really need to get their shit together this cluster fuck has gone on for far to long.
They are supposed to make it easy to get a ticket.
We tried to get tickets for Saturday today had to go from the Butts to Tescos to go back to the Butts.
I got tickets for the Blackpool game at the Butts - waited ten minutes for the lady in front to be told that the computer wasn't talking to the printer and that the person who knew a bit about computers wasn't about. Woman left with areference no. and told to pick up tickets at Ricoh. I got a piece of paper with a hand written reference number that allowed me to collect at Tesco Arena Park shop. Then had to wait in a queue for 20 mins to pick up there. Not good, and made me wonder what would happen if we drew a 'name' in the cup. If this happens, or when the crowds increase if we stay up there, this lack of a system will 'break'. I will either pay cash on the day, or buy a 2nd half season ticket.
