As many will know and disagree I have questioned the continued employment of Thorn as manager. I accept that this is now an irrelevance as he will remain at least until the end of the season.
Equally many people (including myself) have questioned every aspect of SISU ownership and some say they will not come to the Ricoh until they are gone.
Ultimately everyone has the same objective even if they think that this is achieved via different methods, namely to survive. The away record is shocking and Forest aside only a blind optimist can see many points accumulated.
So home form is essential. Many games are winnable.
Regardless of ownership, regardless of managers relegation to the Third tier is unthinkable and in my view potentially life threatening for the club.
So whatever objections about whatever issue a simple pledge. Go to EVERY home game from now until the end of the season. Make the ground a fortress and try and ensure the club stays in this division. There is a small percentage chance this can be achieved and support is now vital.
Exactly. We need to show as much fighting spirit as we want the team to show. In the premiership days when we were in positions like this it would be full house every week, backing the team, regardless of ownership or who was in charge or what players that weren't liked that were playing. I know with some people it's a case of not being able to afford every game but for others there is nothing keeping them away apart from laziness and a desire to spend the day in front of the telly watching Jeff. League 1 football is on the horizon and if my support can help prevent that then I'm going to every game!
I don't agree that relegation to 3rd tier is unthinkable, unpalateble maybe but just a fact of life in football, plenty of not dissimilar sized clubs have had it in recent times, Stoke, Leeds, Wolves, Birmingham, Southampton, Norwich, Sheff Weds, Sheff Utd, Leicester, WBA, Swansea off the top of my head.
(and don't start arguing about how big city are relative to other clubs, all of the ones I've listed have been in the top tier & 3rd tier at some time in the last 25 years).

Completely agree with you there...I have been extremely vociferous in my contempt for SISU and the damage I feel they have done to our club and admit I wanted Thorn out a few weeks ago as I felt we needed change to give us any chance of staying up. Regardless of all that, this is the most important time in our recent history as I believe relegation will be totally disastrous for our long term future...not the 'fun ride' some people think it will be. There has never, in the 35 years I've been following the club, been a more important time to back the team and I'll be doing that at Forest on Saturday. Well said mate.... PUSB.
