we only had one shot on goal…so best case it would’ve been 1-1
that’s like saying if we hadn’t conceded 2 against Sheffield Wednesday, or if we’d scored another against Watford
Well, it’s either that or they just happen to disagree with your utter dross.I wish your time was up on this forum, you keep picking on people’s opinions and making snide comments all the time. You’re an insufferable prick
Take the points about Milne, Sexton etc. Personally I’d include Sillett. But for every one of those there has been a Mackay, Neal, Butcher, Dowie, Slade etc etc. Changing manager is no guarantee of change of fortune. And King has no track record of getting anything right either.
Not sure pinning the failure on the pitch completely on King is fairAgreed. But points are won on the pitch. It’s there he is getting it wrong.
Err do you only think a shot that was on target counts when looking at missed chances? 9 times out of 10 I’d bet on Bassette putting away his chance. A header like Thomas’s would probably be a goal 7 or 8 times out of 10. Wrights disallowed goal would have stood 5 times out of 10. Etc..we only had one shot on goal…so best case it would’ve been 1-1

Weird that a bloke who’s not even interested in football doesn’t seem to know how to run the footballing side of things. It is his fault though
How can you have the audacity to call out someone else’s posts with the utter nonsense you spout? Unlike you I have actually been involved in the game at a decent levelWell, it’s either that or they just happen to disagree with your utter dross.
tbf there’s a lot of ex Premier League players on the TV and radio I listen to who don’t have a clueHow can you have the audacity to call out someone else’s posts with the utter nonsense you spout? Unlike you I have actually been involved in the game at a decent level
Also if I recall correctly you were one of the dickheads that jumped all over me towards the end of the transfer window when I said I was concerned. Turns out I was right and you were wrong. CretinWell, it’s either that or they just happen to disagree with your utter dross.
Well a lot of it is subjective. However the shite the likes of Ringpiece Of Steel and Cally Fedora come out with is nonsense most of the time. They also have a dig st anyone they disagree with, particularly that prick Ring Of Steel. At least when Grendel has a go at someone it’s funny.tbf there’s a lot of ex Premier League players on the TV and radio I listen to who don’t have a clue
I think it was a priority, trouble is we put all our eggs in one basket with Stamenic and got burntWhichever you choose to blame, King or MR, this comes down to recruitment.
No midfield flair, no guts, no leadership, no experience, no fight.
The recruitment has been naive.
Personally, I think they rolled the dice on either Vik or Gus moving and benefiting from that. Neither moved and the cash ran out.
Midfield should have been the priority though.
You can come in off the playground now. You’ve been involved at a decent level - congratulations. So is Erik Ten Haag and he’s still shite. What a ridiculously brattish post. How can you have the audacity to call out someone else’s posts with the utter nonsense you spout? Bassette looked the most likely to score or create that's why 2 players drew yellow cards against him, give the lad 90 minutes, players like him grow into the game where as Simms looked woeful, the only time I remember him touching the ball was when it brushed his hair from 6 yards out. Bassettes chance wasn't as straight forward as people seem to think, the Preston player had a similar chance and his fizzed just wide tooYou mean only 1 chance on target! That doesn't alter the fact that Simms, Eccles, Bassette and Wright had relatively easy chances to score but fluffed them.
In isolation yesterday's performance wasn't too bad, and I think a draw would have been a fair outcome. However on the back of another poor start to the season, losing again to a team most of us regard as a bit 'meh' has had an understandable reaction.
He didn’t. He ran around a lot and missed an absolute sitter which he should have squared.Bassette looked the most likely to score or create that's why 2 players drew yellow cards against him, give the lad 90 minutes, players like him grow into the game where as Simms looked woeful, the only time I remember him touching the ball was when it brushed his hair from 6 yards out. I wouldn't say it was a sitterHe didn’t. He ran around a lot and missed an absolute sitter which he should have squared.
Annoying he didn't but he's young, wants to get his first. You see why he would try and smash it in. One of the positives I thought in the first 30 was how dangerous we looked on the break but think this fizzled out when Preston moved into a box which limited space up front. Not scoring it. But squaring it was.
Which seasons did he struggle at this level, with squads that should have been doing much much better ? Please tellI mean, again factually he is a L2 / L1 manager, he’s not really managed in the championship before us and most of his career and success in management was lower league - he has previously struggled at this level and also hasn’t ever managed in the premier league…
It’s also interesting there’s been no real approaches from higher placed teams, in our league or otherwise
what is your obsession with ‘lies’ over other people’s opinions??
I don’t get this utter bollocks of feeling sorry for Robins.
he’s had £45m to spend, he has final say on incming transfers, he chose Austin , chose his back room team, had the training facilities totally upgraded and gets 25,000 fans cheering on the team every home match.
No Cov manager has had it this good in 25 years.
I really hope he turns it round but let’s not pretend he’s some kind of victim.
Isn’t this how it’s mostly always been done though. Scouts recommend players and managers and directors sign off? Nothing really new imo. When asked about dovin , Robins said " apparantly he's a good keeper "
If you think robins is identifying and signing these players , I've got some magic beans to sell you
He might be saying yes or no , but let's be honest most of the work is done by recruitment
