Looks to me as if MR is having his authority diluted by so many coaches, who in reality, have very little experience at this level. He needs to try and get these players hardened up and fighting for the shirt and having these “ipad” coaches supporting him doesn’t look to be the way. The players are mostly the same and so is MR, so where is the difference being made?I’m baffled by how poor we are at the moment.
I have supported the Sky Blues for over sixty years and MR is arguably the best manager we have had in all that time. I refuse to believe that he has become a bad manager almost overnight.
We have lost O’Hare and Palmer but overall I would say the squad has been strengthened a bit over the summer. We certainly have more depth than we have had in a very long time.
I am coming round to the view that the changes in the back room staff (the loss of Lawrence and AV, the new coaches and recruitment team and the appointment of a performance director) are behind our dip. MR just doesn’t seem to be in control in the way he once was, which must surely be down to DK.
I fear that MR’s days are numbered but to those who want him gone I say be careful what you wish for. I don’t think appointing a novice manager or a more experienced one who has been sacked by another club will be the answer, even if we get a short “new manager bounce”.
It might be Robins can’t work in this culture and Doug finds someone who can?
Any case. Loss to Luton at home and I think he’s gone anyway.
Just re-watched some of last nights game then I watched a clip of Viks goal last night!
Trust me - this goal was one of his best, typical Vik - what it has made me think about though is how far away our current strike force is now - has his money been spent wisely?
Im not so sure.
BUT - LOOK UP LAST NIGHTS SPORTING GOAL - AS GOOD A VIK GOAL AS YOU WILL EVER SEE.
At least that cheered me up (a bit)!
How many chances did he get last night, then Saturday from a very similar area, he's never going to be exactly like Vik, but he's doing ok for me and will be moving on some point this season, maybe time for him to go home and focus on his international aspirations?Sort of goal Haji could score if he put a bit more graft into using his body.
I’d given him until may. he‘s earned the right to get us out of this, can’t go from one of our best managers ever to sacked after 11/12 games, so we might not get play offs but we’re not going down either,How long do you give it before a change needs to happen
Say we lose on Saturday, is it game over for MR? Do you give it until Christmas?
Don't worry, I'm sure QPR will bounce back.Nothings changed or improved.
Meek draw against the divisions worst team. It's over. Get it done.
I think he felt he had to anticipate/guess because he was unsighted, he perhaps could be considered unlucky because the kid scuffed it.I think Dovin thought the shot was going to go to his right, deceived by the bounce , hopefully will learn from that error.
The chopping and changing can't help.I think it’s time for back to basics. Stop pissing about up front. Front three of Wright, Simms and Saka - our 3 best forwards. Stop pissing about at the back. MVE Thomas Kitching Bidwell/jds. Rotate Torp and Rudoni. Tell Sheaf and Eccles to stay fit for a long season ahead for them.
It is!wer‘e only 9 points behind 6th place ( Blackburn who we beat 3-0, don’t panic, it’s a funny old league,
Big coaching teams are the future. I really don’t think anyone can argue with that, looking at the top teams in the world.I’m baffled by how poor we are at the moment.

You didn't mention the outstanding miss 3 yards from goal. Hadji-esqueJust re-watched some of last nights game then I watched a clip of Viks goal last night!

We have taken 11 games to get our first 9 at that rate bearing in mind we have to play 4 of the top 6 in the next 11 how long are the next 9 going to take and thats only to get where 6th place is now .Only 1 of those teams is below us as well.IMO IF we got to anything like lower mid table by Christmas that would be some achievement.wer‘e only 9 points behind 6th place ( Blackburn who we beat 3-0, don’t panic, it’s a funny old league,
Depends how the team is playing generally by that stage. We have taken 11 games to get our first 9 at that rate bearing in mind we have to play 4 of the top 6 in the next 11 how long are the next 9 going to take and thats only to get where 6th place is now .Only 1 of those teams is below us as well.IMO IF we got to anything like lower mid table by Christmas that would be some achievement.
If that keeps MR in a job not sure.
I dont see anything suggesting that, hope i'm wrong. The array we are in at the moment is very worrying.IMODepends how the team is playing generally by that stage.
we won’t keep playing like this, one games all it takes and we normally do better against the better sides ( I won’t mention the Leeds game ) its Prob the first game Saturday where not many give us a chance, we normally play our best then, we’ll be fine just stick with it,We have taken 11 games to get our first 9 at that rate bearing in mind we have to play 4 of the top 6 in the next 11 how long are the next 9 going to take and thats only to get where 6th place is now .Only 1 of those teams is below us as well.IMO IF we got to anything like lower mid table by Christmas that would be some achievement.

We don’t normally do better against better teams
I don't think you can really include cup games, they are completely different to league games.Wolves, Manchester United and Spurs were all good performances
yes You can,we’ve played better when we’re the underdog, this season we were hot favourites, looks like the plsyers believed it, perfect game for us Saturday, nobody’s expecting anythingI don't think you can really include cup games, they are completely different to league games.

Sisu inDecline coincides almost exactly with King’s arrival. Irrefutable.

Play off final and FA Cup semi final under King not SISU. Fact.Decline coincides almost exactly with King’s arrival. Irrefutable.

Think we were tipped as a bit more than dark horses for a top 6,We were underdogs against Leeds away this season. "Free hit" people said.
People saw us as dark horses for a top 6 finish, no one had us down as red hot favourites.
Good news is now we're bottom 3 we will be underdogs in every game.
Most of the neutral outlets had us finishing top 6 pre-season. In fact, a lot of them had us top 4.We were underdogs against Leeds away this season. "Free hit" people said.

"we won't keep playing like this" we had one against Blackburn followed it up with 1 point in 3 games against mediocre opposition there is no "normal" in football ."we normally do better against the better sides" myth the 7 side that finished above us last year W4 L8 D2 if my counts right.we won’t keep playing like this, one games all it takes and we normally do better against the better sides ( I won’t mention the Leeds game ) its Prob the first game Saturday where not many give us a chance, we normally play our best then, we’ll be fine just stick with it,
There’s not a cat in hells chance he’ll let it get to that re the manager and relegationI personally think Robins has so much credit in the bank with fans, the majority would back him even if we were relegated. That's largely an emotional decision.
Doug has a business decision. Relegation will be hugely damaging to the club. Can he oversee that without trying a new manager?
And Robins.Play off final and FA Cup semi final under King not SISU. Fact.
