I thought you only stopped play for head injuries? What happened to that?
Every injury /time to slow the game down has become a head injury.

I sort of agree, but the problem is that it would give an incentive for the opposition to actually give a player a head injury because they'd be a man up for a short period of time. All supposed head injuries, stop game and the clock. The player must then leave the pitch for an assessment, no substitute till assessment is completed.
And then kick him of he is not injured thst should be a must.Same for injurys. No stop in play, pyhsios come one to deal with the fanny on the floor
Said before if a player does not leave the pitch by the nearest exit which he should (refs are very lax on a lot of the rules) he gets a booking if he has already been booked the substitute does not come on.
No the player going off has done wrong he gets the second booking and they finish the match with ten players, another dislike is not retreating ten yards allowing their player time to line wall up and get back into position advantage all gone .Book the first one who fails to do so would soon sharpen the mindOr book the player coming on.
How do you know? We hardly have any shots on target.People comparing Ben Wilson to others at this level is laughable. Not even close to what we see most weeks.
We are just naive and dont know the meaning of time wasting.Brought this up on another thread but thought maybe it's worth more discussion. Last weeks ref didn't have the balls to give a second yellow to follow up on the "drying the ball" card. Their player was just taking the piss by continuing to dry the ball and then advancing 10 or more yards (Didn't go back and check). Ironically we were sent back a few minutes later for stealing just a couple of yards.
It would solve a lot of the timewasting if the rules were changed to give the ref the power to turn a throw over to the other team for any reason he deems sufficient (Timewasting, stealing yards etc) If this was succesful it could be followed with the same powers for goal kicks late in the game. (Cancel the goal kick and award a corner) This would solve a lot of problems.
Thoughts?
Ben Wilson begs to differ. We are just naive and dont know the meaning of time wasting.
15 years of wasting everyone's time.SISU were masters.
Keepers are the worst offenders, (our Ben is exempt from this criticism!). The new one is to set up for a short goal kick, then usher the defenders forward for a long kick. Plenty of keepers are shown a yellow, but never heard of a ref having the balls to show a second.Hearing Blackburn fans crying about Burnley doing it the other night, after their performances against Cov and Preston was very satisfying!
Until the refs start actually booking players for it, will never stop!
In the Birmingham Snr Semi Final our GK (Luke Bell) was taking a goal-kick on the left of the area (in about the 94th minute, with us under the cosh at 3-2!) when he picked it up and very slowly repositioned it to the right of the area. He got booked for it immediately, but it worked, it wasted time.Keepers are the worst offenders, (our Ben is exempt from this criticism!). I actually thought he was pretty good at itWilson is probably the worst in the league for it
Wilson could have faked a head injury after his goalLad and I found an interesting thing in ifab
The ref has to stop the game if the keeper is injured anywhere on the pitch
