We just don’t have the quality. On song and fit that team has no Kelly, Lati, Palmer, etc. And there’s still questions about GK, CBs and CM. It’s a half built squad basically. Once you lose two or three players, particularly quality players, we lose the edge.
We need to sign 5/6 first team quality players and another 4/5 who have the potential to reach that. We probably have to spend half as much again as we did last summer, if not more.
Will be interesting how Robins would do with a bigger squad. Especially when he starts to bomb certain players out or gets stubborn. This I agree with, and keep saying it, we need a bigger squad! (With some quality additions).
Very worrying, he has another 3 years. I hope there is a load of potential he has yet to reveal.Nobody will take Dasilva for a fee and I doubt anyone in this league will take Palmer.
Despite this pile of fatigue…should have got something tonight and last Wednesday.
Giving away terrible goals in the first 10 minutes isn’t tiredness, it’s carelessness. Arsing around at the back isn’t tiredness, it’s an instruction. Passing sideways in front of 11 opposition players isn’t tiredness either, it’s indecision. Has been this way for months.
Our best chance is to free him from defensive duties and convert him to a wide attacking player.Very worrying, he has another 3 years. I hope there is a load of potential he has yet to reveal.
But that's what I've been saying clint , we've had an fa cup run and they are professional athletes paid thousands , they should get on and do their job , we haven't been tired since Preston.. we need to stop with this nonsense we've been shit end of story
MR started to talk about fatigue as far back February, post match v Stoke City. It became our default mindset, the reality is we have played 2 or 3 games more than most other Championship sides.
If you want a bigger squad, which any sane person would, then talking about fatigue to the media is pretty much par for the course in the hope the chairman is paying attention.
Or it's just a shit excuse.
So you don't think they can be any correlation between doing basic things wrong and fatigue....We were on the back foot tonight no matter what against a better team with 3 or 4 regulars out .. but we do so many basic things wrong it's fuck all to do with fatigue it's just a good old fashioned being shit
I think that's a very old-school view MR (and AV) have taken from their playing days. Not sure that's relevant to my post but Robins has mentioned playing through injuries a few times.
Sounds as though we have an issue with players not prepared to grin and bare mi or knocks, but that's reading between the lines
Definitely agree about Da Silva, Palmer i think makes more sense as he knows Ohare wont be here next season and i suspect wanted a good look at Palmer so he can make a decision about that no 10 role (i.e how much to be asking for to spend).O hare and Bidwell should have played, he’s sometimes so stupidly arrogant, he’s made a huge error of judgement regarding Dasilva and palmer and needs to own it and ship them out
New GKWe just don’t have the quality. On song and fit that team has no Kelly, Lati, Palmer, etc. And there’s still questions about GK, CBs and CM. It’s a half built squad basically. Once you lose two or three players, particularly quality players, we lose the edge.

I saw about 30 of them warming up before KO!Looked full strength to me and a strong bench too.
Do why did he agree to let Fadz go then. Robins is the architect of the majority of this tiredness. His use of substitutes is piss poor at best. There have been numerous occasions this season when he could and should have done something with the subs. Today was just another example. It's possible for some of the things you've mentioned to be correct and for fatigue to be a factor, it doesn't have to be one or the other.
But I will keep banging on about squad size, if we don't increase it we won't go anywhere.
Da Silva playing so many games ahead of Bidwell cost us promotion possibly. Robins got that call massively wrong.Do why did he agree to let Fadz go then. It’s true Robins has been the saviour of this club but somethings he needs to look in the mirror to see what the problem is.
There were that many of them they literally had 2 team coaches.I saw about 30 of them warming up before KO!
That’s why teams like Ipswich will overtake us even if they were a whole division below us not long ago.We will get rid of Bidwell instead.
Looked miles off the pace vs Hull, second to every ballNot sure why Allen is not getting a run out, he has hardly played so can’t be tired.

We have no natural leader . As someone posted before we could do with a player with a nasty streak . I would like to see an older experienced CB maybe on loan to help address the defensive issues.I don't think we could have played Fadz in a 4 and if he had the chance for 1st team football and wanted to take it then I dont think you can stand in his way but we're clearly missing his leadership.
Tell Robins to stop the nonsense then. But that's what I've been saying clint , we've had an fa cup run and they are professional athletes paid thousands , they should get on and do their job , we haven't been tired since Preston.. we need to stop with this nonsense we've been shit end of story

Spoken like a true non fan who doesn’t go to games or actually gives a fuck
Haha cry more.
Gets to combine that with slating the manager he hasn’t praised once in the last 7 years. His meltdown over his favourite player leaving after years of dishing it out to anyone who dare say a player isn’t shit is absolutely delicious.
Personally don't think k he's good enough for a team trying to gain promotion. Not sure why Allen is not getting a run out, he has hardly played so can’t be tired.

Was certainly good enough last season.
