Incredible from Barnsley, 8 points off the automatics if they see this out and who'd bet against it when they're winning every week.
didn't realise they had a 5 point cushion over 7th place, incredible. Fair play to them and an inspiration for us to emulate if we stay up.
I really like this Barnsley team. I took the piss a bit with the Barnselona comments earlier in the season but I really am enjoying their riseIsmael surely manager of the year if he keeps it going. Great to see them sticking it to Bournemouth.
If Wednesday didn’t get them 6 points back tho ?

I think so. Said so last week, despite predictive text changing Karanka to some other nonsense!
Always a risk of new manager bounce, but equally- lose first game with new manager and there's no hope.
3 down now means our bad goal difference is slightly less of an issue.
If we win Tuesday, n Rotherham lose vs Watford, I'd say that's us safe then.
9 on blues if we win both plus superior goal difference... 4 the more realistic returnIf we can pull off a win on Tuesday then beat Wycombe we'll have all but done it. a 6 point gap on Blues and 9 on Rotherham if results go for us would be massive.
all CCFC's ain't we boyoMore good news for Barnsley with Cardiff losing right at the end.
Hang on, isn't this a site for Coventry City fans?
We could almost do with them winning their next game as they might think all is ok and not sack him for a few weeks, I think he will go this weekend

5 really... Stoke the 5thBlues next four fixtures are awful
It will be interesting to see if they gamble and get rid of him, not sure who they could get in as replacement.

Dunno about that, half the forum are on the lash already after todayI think a draw will be a positive result against Luton. Despite losing they took the game to Swansea and were unlucky to get nothing out of today. It'll be a tough game which will be made tougher by the fact that it's away from 'home'. Also, I'm certainly not expecting us to win three on the bounce when we haven't even won two in a row all season.
Equally, as poor as they are, Wycombe isn't a guaranteed win as shown by their result today.
I'm confident we'll survive but at the same time I expect a few bumps in the road so we need to refrain from getting ahead of ourselves.
