Yes, but what about Rotherham, in some ways, that's worse. A 3 nil defeat against the worst team in the league, at home. This will seriously hurt team morale at Huddersfield

Talk of 6/7 changes for their upcoming game.
Big risk.
They're only one point above us
Interesting game on Saturday. I still want Huddersfield to beat Rotherham. Keep them as far away as possible.
You still think we are getting relegated? There has been no reaction for weeks. Yet you, and some others on this forum keep putting the blinkers on.
The first time I warned about us sleepwalking into relegation was January. It was met with people largely taking the piss and saying 'yeah but next week'. Look at us now. We are a complete joke.
We had two weeks to get ourselves in a good position to try and get some points on the board, yet we go concede after 90 seconds and fail to score again.
We are getting relegated. It's bad enough, but certain people like you just sitting there fiddling with your cock is just plain stupid. It has been entirely preventable too, which is what pisses me off the most.
Of the two I want a Huddersfield win keeps Rotherham seven points behind with nine to play including us and Brum.I'd want a draw from those two if I had the option. If we could nick a point at Dean Court too then it's as is which would be fantastic.
Yep. At this stage of the season, given our position, I think we should only really be concerned about putting more points between us and the teams below us. If others get dragged into it great but ideally none of those teams would get another point.Of the two I want a Huddersfield win keeps Rotherham seven points behind with nine to play including us and Brum.
You got hairy palms yet?You still think we are getting relegated?
Had them since the age of 9You got hairy palms yet?
You can be the leader of the cock fiddling club then.Had them since the age of 9
So we won't be getting anything at Bournemouth ?Of the two I want a Huddersfield win keeps Rotherham seven points behind with nine to play including us and Brum.
Maybe I’ve cream? So we won't be getting anything at Bournemouth ?

I would say no, because I do think Huddersfield have the better players and are therefore well able to get themselves out of it.Would the best result not be a draw really. As dont want to pin all hopes on one team collapsing in games after.
Keep both in site one above and one below and we just keep doing what we are doing.
Exactly. They would be very happy with a draw at Huddersfield I feel.Rotherham have 10 games left
Play us
Are 7 points behind and have got 6 points from their last 10 matches .
At this point I want them to keep failing
A draw's not a bad result, but prefer Rotherham to pick up absolutely nothing. There is no guarantee we are going to beat them next week.I still think a draw would be a good result. Takes another game away from everybody but doesn't change things. Means if we beat Rotherham on Thursday we go 10 clear of them (depending on their result against QPR), ahead of Huddersfield and ahead of Blues. Having a buffer of teams below us as well as points would be good as it gives us even more security.

Rotherham are way behind us, let's keep it that way. We lose on Saturday and they draw and that will result in them being a point closer to us.
I don't like the notion of wishing the two teams both struggling there and it's for the reason I have stated and for the fact that Huddersfield are above us anyway.
Could do with Huddersfield being well clear, so that when we come to play them, the result isn't vital to them.
Them keeping around the relegation places is going to mean our game against them will most probably be a six pointer.
There seems no obvious truly positive outcome either way from Coventry City's survival perspective for the game between Huddersfield and Rotherham. It seemed a good result last night with Huddersfield suffering badly but it might not have as good long term impact as you might think. The penultimate game is Huddersfield away and really want them out of contention or happy to share a draw with us.
I really do not know which club will take the 3rd spot. At the moment it seems Birmingham are showing some very strong resilient form which is just what you need to survive. I still think the sheer number of games Rotherham has left still makes them a MAJOR WORRY to overtake us. I know that was a bad loss they had with Wycombe but 3 points in another game is just as valuable . I do not fancy our chances playing there at all.
A win for Rotherham though does seem the worst result but I agree with Otis that a draw on this occasion isn't perhaps the best option either. Through elimination that makes a Huddersfield win the best. Maybe an instant recovery to Huddersfield's goal difference by winning 7-0 is the best option.
In saying this though I'm still NOT sure at all what is best. Ideally a win away for us at Bournemouth on Saturday and we wont care but that seems very unlikely as does a draw to be honest. What we definitely don't want at Bournemouth is a 3 goal plus hammering.
Then it’s blues for them after us!!!If Rotherham lose their 2 games before they play us ...then we beat them ..they're basically down .
That's how I see it
You are confusing me with someone else. I have never, ever said we could make the playoffs.I think getting complacent would be very naive.
3 points against Bristol was huge, and that has given us more of a chance, but there is still plenty of time for us to fuck it up.
Do you still think we can make the playoffs?
We need to face the fact that all teams around us will almost certainly pick up points between now and the end of the season, and there will be some surprise results, probably good and bad for us. It's a bonus when a rival team loses a game we expected them to win, e.g. Rotherham losing to wycombe, but no-one, and I mean no-one can predict what will happen in individual results, so worrying at the moment is pointless. There seems no obvious truly positive outcome either way from Coventry City's survival perspective for the game between Huddersfield and Rotherham. True and I only started to get a bit worried after QPR, but I have always been confident we would say up.We need to face the fact that all teams around us will almost certainly pick up points between now and the end of the season, and there will be some surprise results, probably good and bad for us. It's such positive news that we are in April, have 7 games to go and are 7 points clear.
Didn't look like it was going to be anything like that a little while back.
I am expecting nothing on Saturday, so any points at all will be such a massive bonus.
Yes, of course, but I really don't think Rotherham are that good and I can't see them picking many points at all from those games in hand. I think they have too many games to cram in, in too little time.I know you know but we are only 7 points clear because a team has played 3 less games.
Remember Norwich City and Ken Brown thinking thought the same back in 1984/85 when 7 points ahead of us having finished their season and we had 3 games left!
