All those players available to them and yet they spend nearly 100 million on Lukaku.Tbh Chelsea's business model is kind of genius over the last couple years. The amount of money they have made from signing young players loaning them out until they are a decent standard and then selling them is ridiculous.
It's stupid it's allowed to happen on that scale but fair play to them. Their net spend comparative to rivals is relatively low the last 2/3 seasons. (Appreciate the Hazard sale obviously helped with last summer's splurge)

The money distribution in football is just rediculous. So many lower league clubs (and championship clubs) close to going under.
I feel something needs to be done to level the playing field (no pun intended)
Haven't they just got Kenedy to sign a contract extension before loaning him out. On first looks it's bizarre, it's not like Kenedy is 19 up and coming, think he's 27! Why not just sell him?
We are employing a footballer, not a political leader. And nor should we be endlessly punished for past indiscressions. You are punished for the crime as approriate, not given a life sentence. No thank you. Don’t want this kind of idiot at the club.
QPR's Todd Kane has received a seven-game ban and must attend an education session for using abusive language "referencing nationality or ethnicity" towards Brentford's Sergi Canos.
Defender Kane, who has also been fined £6,000, admitted the charge following the Championship game in February.
The 27-year-old Englishman said it was in response to an insult which also referenced his nationality.
The Football Association accepted Spaniard Canos' denial of that claim.
A QPR statement said there was no justification for "insults pertaining to someone else's nationality" and that Kane will be disciplined internally.
The statement added that Kane had "shown remorse throughout" and that "both Todd and Rob Dickie, who witnessed the incident, have consistently testified that Todd's comment was in response to an opposition player using similar language about Todd's nationality".
Kane admitted he used abusive and insulting language contrary to FA rule E3.1, meaning an "aggravated breach" which rule E3.2 defines as language including a reference "whether express or implied, to nationality or ethnicity".
The QPR statement added: "Referring to anyone's nationality is not acceptable and the club and Todd apologise unreservedly to the player involved and to others for whom this incident has caused offence.
"Queens Park Rangers Football Club condemns all forms of discrimination and has been at the forefront of working to tackle this issue, in both our recruitment across all levels of the club and our action in the local community."
Allegedly Man City made £110m in selling & loaning young players - so buying Grealish keeps within FFP. Nothing wrong with it at all, just the market working quite well actually. A bit like JCS then!
Makes you wonder just how many players Chelsea actually have on their books!
Why is it whenever we are linked with players that have featured regularly at this level some fans are against signing them? We were crying out for championship experience last season. I find it oddHe has played 100 Championship games in the last three years so he would be a first team contender ahead of the likes of Pask or Dacosta

They’re going by some QPR fans comments on their forum. If you based every signing on fans opinion no one would sign anyoneHe has actually featured in 150 Championship games and some on here are saying is he even an upgrade on Pask
It looks like Pask himself wants to go somewhere he will have a chance of playing regularly
And I think the management and players have given up on Da Costa

Not sure,
Might be moving away from our recent model doing some of it .
Exactly this. Pask is more than adequate. Baffled why Pask didn't come on other day and not Da Costa even on Left hand side! There's no point in signing him unless he's significantly better than Pask.
Otherwise, why bother?
Did they all get 3?I think we may have to reconsider giving 3 year contracts to these players from abroad - thats Jobello, Hilssner, Kastaneer and now seems Da Costa who have been written off quickly or half way into their deal
Todd Kane is only 27, would still have sell on valueThe players signed under that last summer are still here and gaining value all the time, but clearly if Da Costa has been written off and we need someone else in that position then a more established player makes sense. That said I'd be a bit concerned about us falling in to paying higher wages for players with lower resale value.

Seems unnecessarily risky if it doesn’t work outYes

Haha that explains it. Well he should be as Da Costa is a liability at the moment. He wasn’t on the bench
No wonder no ones has signed Biamou after what Grendels saidThey’re going by some QPR fans comments on their forum. If you based every signing on fans opinion no one would sign anyone
Had he played for the U23's the day before, mind he would have handled five minutes.Haha that explains it. Well he should be as Da Costa is a liability at the moment.

I think youngsters with exceptional potential should be tied down to us for the rest of their careersYes but you do have to make it appealing and worthwhile for the player coming from abroad. Imo the players who should be on long term contracts should be important first team players and youngsters with exceptional potential
