The ITKs were pretty definitive that he would be moved on in the summer. He got injured and Robins said it would have no impact on any plans to move him on. Yet here we are today, and not only is he still at the club, he’s getting subbed on ahead of Dabo for his seventh appearance of the season. What gives? He’s total shit btw.

Is Dabo fit enough to play, unless totally desperate?
Burroughs had a good game overall, but I guess the thought was some experience was needed, as he did look flaky from time to time. So, if Dabo's not 100%, wrong time to throw him on I guess.
Although yep, Kane looked worse than leaving Burroughs on, as it turned out!

Hard to know which is the dumber scenario out of Dabo being on the bench despite not being fit enough to play, or Kane suddenly leapfrogging Dabo in the RWB pecking order.

Kane and Robins fell out months ago - they don’t get on. Robins biggest weakness is he can’t tolerate any dissent and struggles with senior pros who he hasn’t bought on
Ironically he’s very similar in that regard to Southgate - his strength is harnessing young players and bringing them on - his dealing with experienced players generally is not so great

Not sure about that. Plenty of experienced players he has managed well over the last 5 years. Doyle, Kelly, Fadz, etc. He is a strict manager though. Remember an interview with Grimmer and Bayliss (once they’d gone) where they both mentioned this.
Kane doesn't get given any minutes, so we can't really expect a lot from him. He's essentially fourth choice which is madness. I agree regarding the management of him. If he is on the books then the way it is at the moment is just counter-productive to the success of the team.
Dabo is no where near good enough either and isn't the answer.
Kane wasn’t expected to be here this season and I think likely to move on in January so could Waghorn & Walker both out of contract in the summer makes our bench weaker and lacks experience need to bring in players to go straight into the first team, not easy.
