No of course not.Any shortages on tomatoes and peppers in Italy?
So our normal supplies come from the warmer parts. Or the Netherlands which used power for warmth. That is where the contracts are from. This detailed diagram explains!

Or are you saying that the German supermarkets can't get fresh veg because of Brexit?
Exactly. Germany doesn't have a problem. But there is no spare supply for them to purchase and send to their shops in the UK.But Germany doesn't have a problem.
Is it just a coincidence that the only country having to limit purchases of tomatoes to three per person is the one that decided to cut itself from it's biggest market?
Exactly. Germany doesn't have a problem. But there is no spare supply for them to purchase and send to their shops in the UK.
We're not talking of a few tomatoes here. The contracts we have can't be fulfilled. If we were still in the EU would hundreds of tonnes of fresh veg suddenly become available?
And try and be truthful.
So where is Spain and the Netherlands?Well exactly, you're proving my point there
Tomatoes supplies are limited, so they get distributed amongst the EU where trade is free and easy, rather than to the UK where it's more far more difficult. Ergo we don't get (m)any because they're all remaining in the EU.
So where is Spain and the Netherlands?
Why can't Ireland get fresh veg?
Would the growers ignore and break the contracts they already have to supply us when they are not supplying Ireland?
What point of yours has been proven?
So get to the point I did make. You say Brexit has something to do with the shortage yet Ireland who are in the EU has the same shortage. So what has Brexit to do with it?I think you're missing the point.
No one is suggesting Brexit has caused the low tomato yield. That's obviously weather related.
So get to the point I did make. You say Brexit has something to do with the shortage yet Ireland who are in the EU has the same shortage. So what has Brexit to do with it?
Are they here?Do they? Are they limiting customers to 3 tomatoes?
Are they here?
Via a source he won't reveal.Crikey.
I wonder how this is going to affect inflation. Can’t be good for it.Crikey.
Well, yeah. It’s true.WE ARE ALL GOING TO DIE!!!!
BLM preventing us having a BLTIt’s BLM’s fault. If the England football team hadn’t taken the knee none of this wouldn’t have happened.
Not to the point of rationing though. And that’s the point.Weird as Ireland appears to be struggling as well

It's an odd mindset where as soon as there's anything negative in this country peoples first thought is to rush to google to try and find another country that has similar problems. There seems to be this weird think with all the shit that's going on in the UK, not aimed at you Steve, that if you can find a country that has a similar issue it somehow makes it ok.
At the minute, on so many metrics, this country is in deep shit and its not OK.
Nice Bolognese sauce ideal any time of the year. Why do the British eat salad in the winter anyway?

Yeah it’s much better and how it works here, luckily things like tomatoes can be grown all year round. There’s still Spanish tomatoes in the supermarkets though that largely go unbought.TBF many of the imported tomatoes we get are wank. Tinned ones much better for sauces etc. Home grown tomatoes are better when in season. I do have a fair bit of empathy with the notion that we should eat vegetables that are in season here at a given time.
Funnily enough, that's exactly what the thick c*nt Therese Coffey is saying we should be eating!!!!! And she isn't joking
It was on the BBC website. No searching for anything. It's an odd mindset where as soon as there's anything negative in this country peoples first thought is to rush to google to try and find another country that has similar problems.
Why don't people want this country to be the best and ahead of other countries when there are issues?
Next up, rat-au-van.Funnily enough, that's exactly what the thick c*nt Therese Coffey is saying we should be eating!!!!! And she isn't joking
Shades of Baldrick and his turnip menu, if it wasn't so serious, it'd be funny, fuckers are deliberately trying to grind us down.
