Rarely have I missed an FA Cup Final on tv (or live in 87) but don't have the stomach to watch it tomorrow.

I'm not still sore from the semi but it's just left me so deflated I'd rather do something else tomorrow.

Yep, walking away from Wembley I was feeling pretty philosophical about it all, like how we were the moral victors and how enjoyable it'll be to watch Man United get picked apart by Man City.

But in reality I've just been stewing on it ever since feeling more and more bitter. Disregarding if the decision was technically right that level of forensics ruins the spectacle of football, nobody could argue any advantage was gained by Haji.

What a day it would have been tomorrow, a huge spotlight on our club and even if we got battered it would have been a real achievement.

I'll be avoiding every single second of it, I feel sick to the stomach every time I see it mentioned.

Let's be pragmatic about this. We would've been embarrassed by Man City. The talking points of the final would all be condescending and patronising from the pundits and the wider public would find the probable scoreline amusing.

I'll be watching though, as Man Utd are an absolute pleasure to watch.

i want man city to win.
with all of their financial shenanigans everything they do has a shadow over it anyway. so they may as well add this to their stash of ill gotten gains. just another title that will have an asterisk next to it.

I won’t watch any coverage but will watch all of the game. If Man Utd somehow win I won’t be amused

Don't like either team, but hope Man Utd get obliterated, Haaland celebrates in front of Antony at full time and he starts crying

I still can’t get over it. The most fantastic moment and achievement snatched away by a horrendous VAR decision. I have visions of being in the united end, seeing the ball hit their net and the whole Cov end erupting, hearing the explosion of noise, seeing their players broken on the floor.

How different the journey back would have been, and the days since, revelling in booking everything for the final, the media attention. Yes we would probably have taken a hiding but so what? You never know with football.

Ten Hag would have been sacked before they left the stadium. As it is he might win the cup as you never know with football. If City win it then it might later get taken off them and given to united. That could have been us!

ObviouslyI need to put it in perspective compared to other things in life but, bloody hell, it was and still is a very very bitter pill to swallow.

I hate Man City and all the shady things they have done to get where they are and I hope they get a big punishment from the PL & traditionally I would want Man Utd to beat them. However, after the semi final & some of the attitude of their fans afterwards I hope they get hammered. Another final I won't watch, I think the last one was when Wigan won.

Will be ironic if the team wearing sky blue called City win it.

Having been there in '87 under the circumstances and knowing how much football has changed reaching the final tomorrow would have been in some respects a bigger achievement. The spotlight for the club would have been huge and even with a loss would have been an amazing finish to the season setting us up nicely for next seasons campaign.

I hate them both! They're not football clubs any more, they're multinational corporations. It's a much better experience for proper football fans who support their local clubs through thick, thin and thinner. The pleasure the plastics who 'support' Man Utd/City et al get when they win trophies is nothing compared to what we feel when we have any success, however modest by comparison

people need to get over it

I do hope man City score loads, if only because the Tav has said free shots every time they score.

Manchester City spending a lot of money. Manchester United spending a lot of money, Ferguson and his players intimidating referees, plastic fans like my next door neighbour. I’ve been to old Trafford more than 99 % of their “fans” hell if I’d only been once I’d have been there more.
Vile club want them hammered by City

If using your metric, surely you'd prefer Utd to score, you get two free shots for every time they score?

Still can’t fathom how they managed to reach that decision in about 90 seconds, when it quite often takes them 10 minutes in premier league games.

The semi hurt, I will watch it, I already miss football. City are everything that is wrong with modern football and there's 115 reasons I can't get behind wanting them to tonk United despite what happened in the semi. Some tears for Antony wouldn't go amiss though.

If you look at the replies someone has drawn lines on a still that they say shows Haji offside, my argument with the decision is that Wan Bissaka is leaning forward as he runs back and his shoulder is ahead of his foot which is what is used to draw the line, the vertical line should have been drawn from his shoulder not his foot, it's history now anyway, if I'm not doing something else I will watch it but I'm looking forward to the play off final more.

If it’s 8-0 to Man Utd they’ll still have scored less goals than us

I still think had Torp's goal stood against UTD, we would of flunked the play offs. Got a sneaky feeling though UTD will win tomorrow

We'd of had a massive gap in fixtures, we wouldn't of had a game for 3 weeks

Absolutely refuse to watch that contrived bollocks, still convinced we were stitched up by that VAR wanker. They can stick it where the monkeys put their nuts !
