Why is it out of our hands?

All Coventry fans will be worried about relegation, but it's now out our hands.
SP will need to do a miracle with the resources we have at our disposal.

Also City have 1 or 2 games in hand on 7 of the teams below.

It seems very unlikely they will go down this season.. they would have to get no wins in the remaining 15 games, if they average a point a game they will end up with 52 pts which should be enough.

Our strike force was good enough to get promotion. Our defence is good enough.....or should it be bad enough.....to get relegated.

We still have the same defence.

3 defeats and everyone suggest the wheels have come off? My oh my how Coventrian's are so quick to criticise and look for the negative.
Yes we have lost the scoring partnership we had and no surprise then we have had different results.
Plenty of games to go and on paper at least plenty of weaker opposition than us. game or two in hand and if Elvis can reconfigure some scoring options up front (particularly with Wilson's return) then I see us getting back on track. We still make plenty of chances in our play so the problem is a simple one to fix and we should see that happen with Wilson's return and possibly a loan striker.

Every year a lot of teams fall apart in this league with the last 3rd to go. We don't have to be one of them.

Agree with what you're saying Pax, but if Wilson (and whoever) doesn't score then we will most probably lose points and the alarm bells get a bit louder. I think Pressley has done a fantastic job, but his one failing is we have leaked lots of goals since the start of the season and he hasn't addressed that to any degree of satisfaction. Seems he relys on trying to score more than we conceed.
