the better side of Mowbrays tenure

1.Tried to sign younger players on longer contracts

2.Refurbished Ryton as I was told today it was an absolute dump

3.Brought back a scouting network which was non existent before he came .

4.First manager to finish top 10 under SISU

5.kept us up in the 14/15 season

6.Allowed supporters to watch joe Cole in a Coventry top (haha) we were all excited don't lie

7.Had the best points tally of any city manager ever in 1 season since 3 points was introduced .

8.Had the best goal difference in a season for 60 years

9.Always had time for supporters and their children

10.Gave a fractured fanbase hope for the first time in 18 years

11.for large parts had his team play some amazing football which I hadn't seen at the Ricoh before

I wish him all the best in his future , deserves better than this poisoned chalice

Thanks Tony. Decent honourable guy and when we were top of the league I couldn't have been happier if we'd won the champions league. Ultimately fell short but I had belief that had been knocked out of me year on year and for those few short months when Arma was firing it was the best we had played since being dubbed the entertainers in the Prem.

Talked a lot of sense (well last season anyway).

Wasn't afraid to go for it and throw extra strikers to try and win a game.

Very affable.

Tried to play football the right way and wanted his team's to play exciting football.

I'm very sad to see him go, but do feel that he pretty much had to considering the run of form we've been on. Really wanted him to turn it round. Alas it was not meant to be.

He gave us hope for the first time in years.

He tried to put some pride back in the club with something as simple as fixing showers at the training ground and giving it some identity.

Had a plan and long term vision, said it how it was and didn't defend his players when he didn't need to. Played entertaining football, still did until the end. During the first half last night we were completely dominant.

A lot of people calling for his head or those pleased to see him go, either have poor memories or aren't going to games and merely basing their assessment on results or what they read in the media.

His business in the transfer market this Summer unfortunately looks as though it shall be his downfall, but I for one do not wish to see him go and believe that he was only back to back wins away from turning it around. Do we have the faith in this shower of shite to replace him with someone of similar calibre? I foresee a caretaker period which will last a week or 2, throwing in a few more defeats for good measure, new guy comes in doesn't inspire much confidence in the fan base yet we say we'll 'give him a chance'. Honeymoon period of 3 wins in 5 before the rot sets in, things become even worse off the pitch and we head for League 2.

What I wouldn't put past Fuckface Fisher is appointing Venus and Oggy as a duo temporarily, they get a win or 2 before being installed 'until the end of the season'. The man is deadly and should in my opinion be at the forefront of any protest suggestions, take them apart piece by piece.

The half of last season is the best consistent spell I've seen in a very long time. Sadly the warnings of his teams fading from a position of prominence had merit, although I wasn't expecting it to continue quite to this degree.

He made me proud to support Coventry (albeit only for about 5 months) for the first time since the late 90's. For that, I thank him.
