I think we can have better quality on loan than we can persuade to sign on a permanent deal.
Note I said 'persuade', not 'afford'.
This way we have gotten three high level players in - instead of three legue 1 players.
Used to think that loan players had no loyalty to the club but I now think players under contract don't seem so committed either these days.
There's certainly no holding players from moving whether loans or contracted.
I imagine the sixfields lake will come as a surprise to them!

Any truth in the £850k bid for moussa from ipswitch
Waggotts on CWR ,intimating its someone @ a Prem club, and If it don't come off tonight ,maybe after next week when they announce 25 man squads.
That coming in I assume? Striker?
Can't see why we don't offer moussa a half decent contract
He's worth twice that but is out of contract at end of the season.
Any truth in the £850k bid for moussa from ipswitch
Apparently Joe Ledley was signed for only £750,000 today according to reports. His contract was also out at the end of the season, So to get anything near to that figure for Moussa would be some good going.
What did Waggot say? I missed his interview, still hopeful of a new signing before the deadline? Anything about out going players?
He said when the window shuts his main priority will be looking to try and get Moussa and Burge signed on new contracts. Certainly sounds like there has been no bid for Moussa.
Leeds have sacked their manager. At least we're not in that kind of state.
And that proposed takeover broke down yesterday .I'm not surprised on McDermot.
