Sounds like it will be news we may not want to hear...

Maybe it does depend on the Griffiths deal...

The exclamation point makes it read enthusiastically, so I'm going with an incoming.

(If I'm wrong, every exclamation point from here on in will read as mocking and sarcastic and that'll be my childhood RUINED.)

EDIT: childhood ruined going by Rich's post. Damn you Telegraph.

That 'blessing in disguise' thing is an unnecessary dig at Jon Stead. At least retain some class when misleading us about our increasing depression, @CovTel_CCFC.

It's a pretty fair thing to blame, not really Sixfields specifically but the entire situation, realistically there is now no chance of success here, no job security, playing on a terrible pitch, with empty quiet stands with more negative things likely to happen than positive things. Of course If the money was good enough players would likely ignore everything else but the money probably at best is no better than they can get anywhere without the other issues.

I'm sure most of us spent our childhoods growing up dreaming of being Coventry players but even with a great love for Coventry how many of us if we were players would chose to come to us now? I wouldn't.

That said I'd have expected it be much easier to convince someone to come on loan as long as they had no other options and wanted first team football.

Seppala signs Rooney On the signing she said...."Now who knows nothing about football?".................The 5'2" 93 year old said "I can't wait to score a lot of Soccer goals for Coventry" and added "I'm especially good at getting the touchdowns with my head from what you call corners"
