Musonda seems like a pretty decent guess, although he has ‘2 cup appearances and released in the summer’ written all over him with his appearance record. Would hope that we were looking to bring in someone with a bit more pedigree.
You always want to be cautious in what you say in case he plays 46 games and scores 20 goals, making you look like an idiot. However, I have to be honest, and I cannot get my head around this at all. Seems like a totally stupid and naive move considering he is 25 and played 30ish games in his entire career, with one goal to his name during that time.
With a tight budget and some damning lessons from previous transfer activity, this does seem crazy.
Amazing given that he is the son of god and was the championships most wanted man last year...Biamou is now a free agent after leaving Dundee United (55 minutes, 0 goals)
I really can't see it being MusondaYou always want to be cautious in what you say in case he plays 46 games and scores 20 goals, making you look like an idiot. Does seem strange given his injury recordI really can't see it being Musonda

Good god...
It’s bizarre he’d ask it about him and not Bakayoko who’s scored some goals this season in the league below
People will scoff but in hindsight, either Baka or Max would've been better options (financially and output wise) than Waghorn.
Not sure about the terrifying bit though.
Absolutely not, I don't think people give waghorn enough credit for his role pre getting covid, once he came back it's obvious something had gone on with him but as both max and Baka showed last season they are no where near championship quality, max couldn't even play and score in a pub league
Loved max but he was out if his depthCan we not agree that both Waghorn and Max are both shit?
There's the scoff.
I'm not getting into this debate of whether Max was "good enough" for the championship, he clearly wasnt to be a regular in a progressing team. But point of order.........
Max played 30+ games and scored 5 goals in his first effort in the Championship.
Waghorn played 27 and scored 1 in his last effort in the Championship.
So as I stated, in hindsight both financially and output-ally a better option.
Could it be Billy Gilmour?Palmer, Swift or Anjorin if that's the case
Apart from the fact we wouldn't have had as good a start this season without waghorn in the team of course as anyone who actually watched those games will have seen what a difference he made, especially to gykos game but we will ignore that as he wasn't very good when he came back from covid
Meanwhile max hardly played in a pub league
Your opinion isn't a fact. We can't say for a fact that Vic's game is better with Waghorn in the team. There's no evidence to suggest that.
Anyway let's not hijack the thread.
Walsh
I’d argue Gyokeres form tailed off when Waghorn got injured.Your opinion isn't a fact. We can't say for a fact that Vic's game is better with Waghorn in the team. There's no evidence to suggest that.

Been at 3 Championship clubs and none of them have played him…take the hint
I think everyone needs to give up with Walsh, he had his chance to join didnt, thankful for all he did in the promotion season but we have surpassed him nowWell 4 actually forgot his loan spell at Birmingham, again rarely played, 3 games…
I think a lot of it is down to to injuries to be fair, when he’s fit he’s obviously a good player with something to offer at this level.Well 4 actually forgot his loan spell at Birmingham, again rarely played, 3 games…

Strange it hasn't worked out for WalshI think everyone needs to give up with Walsh, he had his chance to join didnt, thankful for all he did in the promotion season but we have surpassed him now
If that’s the case then I’d happily take him. Seen enough in that season in league 1 to say he could do it for us in this league as a back up.It’s not, was fit at Swansea and they loaned him to another Championship club, Hull he was fit and couldn’t get into their 18.
