If we play 2 up front the '3rd' striker will play shit loads. If we have Simms and Wright surely no Premier League club would loan us a striker as they'd have little opportunity to play?
We might just need more than 11 players to last the season...If we have Simms and Wright surely no Premier League club would loan us a striker as they'd have little opportunity to play?
With the championship being a match heavy league, I’d expect our 3rd and 4th strikers to play a shitload of minutes. Hell even Obikwu will see the pitch a decent amount I predict. If we have Simms and Wright surely no Premier League club would loan us a striker as they'd have little opportunity to play?
Troy Parrot is interesting shout, didn’t realise he was still on Spurs books. Plays just off the striker which would complement Simms and Wright well. Hasn’t really done it at this level but his stock is low so he’d be getable you would think.Rodrigo Muniz, Troy Parrot, Shane Lavery, Rhian Brewster, Miles Leaburn, Mason Burstow, Tom Cannon, Andi Zeqiri, some other names to add to the bucket.
Robbings out. Imagine spending £7.7m on a Yank striker from a farmer’s league to miss out on a player PNE sign.Whatmough has gone Preston
Noone turns us down(except dragus) so wonder who else we decided to go for?
Reckon our remaining CB will be a perm, what with McNally on loan not tickling our pickle. Wouldn't be surprised if the remaining attacker is a loan though. Not any ITK like but i keep thinking Humphries
Not too overly concerned with this.
I think that Duk from Aberdeen would be a great striker to add in place of Dragus, and if we got rid of Godden down the line I would like us to go for Duk’s current striking partner Miovski. Both done quite well scoring over 30 goals combined in the Scottish league this past season. Another sensible striker that fits the Dragus mold would be Ado Onaiwu from Toulouse in Ligue 1. Similarly to Dragus, we would be paying for what he can do physically/talent wise, rather than what stats he’s put up. Not the most prolific, but still a great player physically that has scored goals, just a question of if Robins can get the best out of him, would also be a nice addition in terms of building a partnership with Tats. A younger player I think we should take a chance on is Steven Shpendi from Cesena in Serie C. While not playing in the greatest league, he’s scored loads and has shown potential to be a top class striker in the future. Albanian international, has a twin brother that’s also quite decent. Lastly if we were to go for a loan, Dan Jebbison from Sheffield United would be my pick. Not sure what kind of better strikers are out there in terms of loaning a prem youngster, but we could fill the gap with Jebbison. Has shown loads of promise but did not have a good championship season and is definitely not ready for the Prem. Was decent in League One and definitely has the talent and physical characteristics to become a top class striker. Would get him on loan + buy option if possible.
Same here. Or Panzo back permanently maybe. Not any ITK like but i keep thinking Humphries

Only 2 more signings? By my calculations we’ve got another 6 or 7 to go?Reckon our remaining CB will be a perm, what with McNally on loan not tickling our pickle. Wouldn't be surprised if the remaining attacker is a loan though.
Whatmough could we have done though?
Well indeed, i bet Robins regrets that nowOnly 2 more signings? By my calculations we’ve got another 6 or 7 to go?
He wouldn’t lie!!!Well indeed, i bet Robins regrets that now
The way we're going i wouldn't be at all surprised to see another 4 at least, dunno what they'd be, if i was guessing i'd say LCB, ST, AM, CM in that order.
Understandable really only up the road from Blackburn so doesn’t have to uproot his family.
Wonder why they are open to letting them goI’d take either of these pair if we’re being greedy
I remember Robins being hugely complimentary about the physical attributes of the Stoke players when they whipped us at our place. We couldn’t get near their midfield.I’d take either of these pair if we’re being greedy
He would be good. Doesnt suit what we need. We have already got too many beanpolesMiles Leaburn maybe?
I thought brown would be the sort of striker we’d go after to support Simms, hard working second striker rather than the main goalscorer, a loan would be nice but couldn’t see them loaning to a rival.I remember Robins being hugely complimentary about the physical attributes of the Stoke players when they whipped us at our place. I wondered if we might go back in for one of their central midfielders if we lost Hamer.

Thanks i've been after something easy to look at like this.
Not many teams done decent business imo
I agree, it doesn't show the outgoing players but i have a rough idea and there aren't many teams that are stronger than last season really. Not many teams done decent business imo
