Could be anything from players/agents asking for too much to clubs suddenly wanting a bigger fee. As others have said the deals got to be right for us otherwise we’ve got to move on or at least sit tight and see how things play out
Didn't know I was 'picking a fight with him'. Simply asked if he made the statement about Jackett in jest or if he meant it, you know, trying to give him the benefit of the doubt and all and then questioning someone's judgement who might prefer Jackett over Robins. If this counts as picking a fight round these parts, then I apologise for my disgusting assault on his sensibilities.

I asked this other poster if that was actually true or was it said in jest, you know, context being important and all, the next thing I know, I have Grendel and his fanboi's coming at me as I passed judgement on his less than exceptional talent spotting.

I have been a reader for many months, but I assure you I was not aware of the Kenny Jacket comment. I have never been to Croatia, and I can promise you I don't know who or what he is on about. If he has made enemies over the years, then I can't think why as he seems really friendly.
