You managed to completely miss the point. It's not that no one will pay what they want, it's that we (likely) can't.Oh dear me, have a word! The are unemployed and in no position to demand anything. They have 2 choices; adjust their financial expectations or don't play. And if they choose the latter, that may be the end of their career.

Any of these worth a look if you were MR?

Matty Longstaff, is someone id bring in to look at. A good player in there, right age and may just have a mental block. Give Adi a week with him and see if he is worth a short term deal.
Haven't his last couple of moves been to league 2 as well?He did his ACL about the same time as O'Hare which is probably one of the reasons he hasn't got a club, not sure i'd want to take him.
Yeah but given his injuries it would have been hard to get him a better loan.Haven't his last couple of moves been to league 2 as well?
28 games in 5 yearsFree agent;
To be fair he’s 25 and a 1 year deal with another year in their favour for extending.28 games in 5 years
Really? As a kid I remember Stewart Robson joining a a free agent. Everyone said he was crock.
Showed England form for us for a good 18 months.
Yeah, for a season or so he was brilliant. England B? standby for full squad? Memory may deceive but I do remember he was first class for a while.Really?
100%. Great player.Yeah, for a season or so he was brilliant. England B? standby for full squad? Memory may deceive but I do remember he was first class for a while.
Fair enough. My recollection was that for us he always looked a shadow of his former self, and you could tell his movement was restricted. It's a measure of his talent that he was still good enough to play well in the top flight though.Yeah, for a season or so he was brilliant. England B? standby for full squad? Stewart Robson had played 200 times in the first divisionTo be fair he’s 25 and a 1 year deal with another year in their favour for extending.
And he’s on a free. Not a huge risk when you come to look at it.
In a year, they may have a 26 year old on their books worth a fee (because they can trigger extended contract), or a 26 year old they can let go after having a good look at him.

Then he was crock.
So….
Anyway, the moral of the story is nobody really knows anything.

When fit and on his gave he was superb. He was however rarely fit through out his career.Stewart Robson would have been an England regular but for his constant injuries at Arsenal. For me he is one of our top ten best ever midfielders.
Looked a shadow of his former self? He won our player of the season in 1992 and was excellent all year.Fair enough. There were games when he looked a different class to the rest of the players in the pitch. Particularly remember a match at Selhurst Park, but can't recall who we were playing. I think it was Charlton. He was absolutely superb for his first season with us. For a free, that gives him a free pass for his later decline.
I don't disagree that he looked a good player, but earlier in his career he was destined to be a top international. I still don't think he was ever in that bracket for us, and you could almost see his frustration with the physical limitations he was having to overcome. So yes IMO he was an outstanding player who had declined to very good. If it weren't for his injuries, we'd never have had a sniff of signing him.Looked a shadow of his former self? Good shaker though, might bring more 007s through the gatesNo chance, he's a shit stirrer.
Balotelli a free agent...
Nah, he likes to party too much. Turkey I reckonHe has Saudi Arabia written all over him.
No alcohol or parties in Saudi. Not sure that's for himHe has Saudi Arabia written all over him.
