I think we're better than Brannagan now, although I have mentioned him as a player who I think deserves a crack at the Championship. Probably one of the lower down clubs. Was interesting to see Brannagan today. Always a player mentioned on here. Could switch play well enough but was sloppy in possession. Didn’t get around the pitch enough. Can tell he’s a good league one player but no better than what we’ve got.
Yes, could be. Weren’t Leeds favourites for MVE too?He linked us with that Nigerian defender Adjei a month or so ago. Said it was a hefty transfer fee. Leeds were in for him aswell so it could be him with him more likely to be going to Leeds I would imagine.
Remember him playing against us and he looked equal to Sheaf as a player at the time. Sheaf has massively improved since then.I think we're better than Brannagan now, although I have mentioned him as a player who I think deserves a crack at the Championship. Probably one of the lower down clubs.

Ah yeah I forget was Doyle and Kelly. That must be why Brannagan looked good haha!Sheaf never played for us in league 1
Initially on a season long loan with a view to buy from ArsenalAh yeah I forget was Doyle and Kelly. That must be why Brannagan looked good haha!
edit - was sheaf signed for our first champ season? From Doncaster?

Wiki says he was on loan there the season before joining usah that was it! Did he play for Doncaster or did I imagine that too?
He had a season long loan at Donny before he joined us on loan.ah that was it! Did he play for Doncaster or did I imagine that too?
my guess this is Nathaniel Adjei and we are second in a race with Leeds
Fair few players from Oxford I’d take a punt at. Moore, Brannagan, Goodrham, Negru, O’Donkor. At the right price that is.
Based on their performance in League one. All players have been linked to the champ barring O’Donkor and Negru is being chased by Prem clubs.Surely not based on todays performance
Goodrham is a talent. Still only 20 and improving all the time.Fair few players from Oxford I’d take a punt at. Moore, Brannagan, Goodrham, Negru, O’Donkor. At the right price that is.
Think I mentioned him specifically as someone we should be looking at towards the beginning of the seasonGoodrham is a talent. Still only 20 and improving all the time.
Based on their performance in League one. All players have been linked to the champ barring O’Donkor and Negru is being chased by Prem clubs.
He’s 19 on track for 20+ games in consecutive seasons at league one level for one of the best clubs in the division. I said these were players I would take a PUNT at, not necessarily players that come in and wreck havoc immediately. O’Donkor would be a Tavares esque signing only he’s done much more than Tav did when we signed him.Barring O’Donkor? So that must mean he’s not Championship quality then
They had nobody today I'd look at twiceFair few players from Oxford I’d take a punt at. Moore, Brannagan, Goodrham, Negru, O’Donkor. At the right price that is.
Was it John Sillett after the cup win in 87 who made the comment about now being able to shop at Harrods when Speedie was signed? We have moved on from signing league one jobbers from Oxford
Making it up as he goes along
Evander da Silva Ferreira from Portland Timbers 25 years is a rumour apparently doing the rounds, don't know how reliable this is. 10 million rated apparently.
A couple of years later Kevin Drinkell was hobbling into Highfield Road for £900k, pretty much £200k per goal during his time with us.Was it John Sillett after the cup win in 87 who made the comment about now being able to shop at Harrods when Speedie was signed?
…or worse, PSB “group”Wouldn’t this be like the Sky Blues Trust claiming to have inside knowledge on a transfer?
no itk knowledge but that notts county twitter has major trying to get paid engagement on twitter vibes

I’ve called for him to be fair based on his stats this seasonI think we're better than Brannagan now, although I have mentioned him as a player who I think deserves a crack at the Championship. Probably one of the lower down clubs.
