You can keep moving the goalposts or setting tighter criteria if you like, but I stand by my point. We don't have a track record of taking more obvious signings. To be surprised that's still the plan doesn't make sense to me.

Cool. Enjoy getting your own questions right and being pessimistic. I'll trust the Team that's got us this far to keep finding a way to improve, and wait till people play for us before deciding if they're actually any good or not. Works for me.Bidwell is a good example. Godden we spent £750k on and Peterborough were better than us at the time.

If it comes off be deserves toits one last desperate attempt at gaining credibility. It sounds so unlikely that if it comes off he'll dine out on it for years
