Yes sorryAssuming we don’t go up?
Wow! Not bad!
Yeah that was great to see, it clearly meant a lot to him.
If promoted I’d like cov to sign up and coming talent, Southampton will be picked apart for young talent
priority a keeper
try And sign mcnally and Doyle
An experienced centre half
Two/three wing backs
Back up striker
Happy for the midfield to have a go
I wouldn’t want signings like coufal on a free etc, yesterday’s players
I wouldn’t want us doing what forest did
in robins we trust
if not promoted then similar plan but up and coming championship/league one players with usual loans
He would but surely a top half team will take him. I could see him at somewhere like Spurs or Man U.It wouldn’t happen but Ward-Prowse would be a cracking acquisition for any lower half Prem side

Dean Henderson, Brandon Williams and Elanga being let go at United. Might be worth going for if we get promoted
8 year deal he signed didn’t he?Doyle on a permanent with a buy back clause would be excellent business
8 year deal he signed didn’t he?
CorrectUntil 2027 I think.
Correct
I do make stuff up sometimes don’t I?
City defender Doyle signs new long-term contract after impressive form on loan
Manchester City teenager Callum Doyle has made over 60 professional appearances out on loan in the last two seasons.www.manchestereveningnews.co.uk
Absolutely doable then if we want himDont we all?
Absolutely doable then if we want him
If we go up we might be able to twist their arm. His progress is unbelievable for a 19 year oldI think a loan would be our best best. Can’t see them wanting to let him go. Think we might be in with a shout with the other loanees though.
Don't think we would have any chance with Doyle or Wilson-Esbrand other than on loan if we went up. Would we want Panzo?I think a loan would be our best best. Can’t see them wanting to let him go. Think we might be in with a shout with the other loanees though.
I can't see why Man City would sell him. They don't need the money and he looks good enough already to become a first team player for them in due course. Like you it wouldn't surprise me if he plays for England. If we go up we might be able to twist their arm. His progress is unbelievable for a 19 year old
Daring to think England captain material

Assuming we don’t go up?
Wow! Not bad!
Man City would be considering his potential not whether he is ready for the Premier league next season.Really? Not with Wilson-Esbrand? Plus he's not Prem standard anyway - I wouldn't want him in the Prem
Wages - regardless of competition from existing PL clubs. That's why I'd be looking at Championship's better players / ambitious youngsters with potential sell on value. Don't want to throw money at journeymen who are just after a pay day.It wouldn’t happen but Ward-Prowse would be a cracking acquisition for any lower half Prem side
I agree but don't think Ward Prowse is a journeyman.Wages - regardless of competition from existing PL clubs. That's why I'd be looking at Championship's better players / ambitious youngsters with potential sell on value. Don't want to throw money at journeymen who are just after a pay day.
We're not sure any of our current players are yet (in order I would say Hamer, followed by Gyo then McNally .Man City would be considering his potential not whether he is ready for the Premier league next season.
I am not even sure Doyle is ready yet.
No, wasn't suggesting he was (maybe badly worded!)I agree but don't think Ward Prowse is a journeyman.
Just seen on that article that they have a player called Oscar Bobb. What a wonderful name.Correct

But it doesn't matter. We've got fire in our belly and we are hungry as. 20th in league budget says it all. Confident we'd survive the 1st season up.We lack championship quality let alone prem, we've got players that go as far back as league two. I fear we'd need a similar overhaul as the likes of forest, and even then you don't know how that will play out. Outside of the loans, vik, hamer and sheaf are the only ones I'd class as top champ/lower prem players. If we went up, we'd have likely have one of the worse squads that's ever made it to the prem from the championship.
IF, we manage to get promoted, do you think we would still be interested in the lad de silver from bristol, I'm sure he's a free agent at the end of this season.
Absolutely not. Horrific injury record, only played in the Championship over a 10/15 game period and the mad Mackems want £15m for him.If vik goes maybe Ross Stewart from scumberland. Decent record so far in the championship and if stayed fit could have challenged vik and akpom to the golden boot. Doubt he will be on stupid wages aswell and will relish a challenge in the premiership
Yes, agree - i was talking about us not going for journeymen players in general (obviously not JWP, who I think is a no go, due to wages/competition)Well he isn’t, he’s only been there and isn’t that old either. But will be big competition for his signature anyway.
We definitely need to pick up some experienced professionals where we can if we go up. We need strong leaders in the team to get us through the season as it will get tough and ugly. It seems that Robins has a plan if we were to get promoted.Would like to see us go after Johansson at Rotherham even if we don’t go up.
McNally too and if we can pinch BNC on a perm.
If we went up I’d be looking for an experienced CB who knows the division and a LCB (maybe Doyle on loan). Then a LWB like Giles. Then a few foreign gambles sprinkled around at ST, AM, CM, CB etc.
Aim for 20 core Prem quality players, which probably means 15/16 signings total.
