Yeah I'd far rather we brought in players like Waghorn, Maguire and Todd Kane than Doyle, McNulty and Norton-Cuffy.Personally I don’t want 18/19 year old loans, pissed off with polishing other teams starlets as we have with McNulty and Doyle. Loan to buy as we did with Sheaf I can go with at a push.
Ironically the 2 examples you gave were excellent for us and played their part in getting us to the playoffs, and cost us nothing other than a loan fee. I'd say that was brilliant business.Personally I don’t want 18/19 year old loans, pissed off with polishing other teams starlets as we have with McNulty and Doyle. Love the fact he managed to get you saying McNulty too.Yeah I'd far rather we brought in players like Waghorn, Maguire and Todd Kane than Doyle, McNulty and Norton-Cuffy.
Why?Love the fact he managed to get you saying McNulty too.

I’m sure Patino handed in a transfer request as wants to play first team football and not have another loan. Be a good option off the bench pushing other players for 500/700k maybe.

You maybe right but definitely bookmarking this onePatino is definitely not going to end up at Coventry.
Indeed the Belgian who watched him last season said that they'd played him LW last season but his original position is LB. And as you can tell from his highlights, he's played a lot on the right as well. As he says himself, he's very versatile! I think he may start as our RWB because he loves cutting in on that left foot, very dangerous. He played RM and LM for his previous club in Belgium, which is RWB and LWB.
I am fairly sure he has been signed as an AM (who can fill in at wing back if needed), but he has definitely played wing back previously.
It’s been covered mate, then descended in a who’s better between Hyam and McNally and how must we would pay for them.Has anyone covered the Blackburn monetary problems within their club & if they are close to implosion & if they still owe the Skyblues any money from the Hyam sale , couldn’t we get him back for an even more reasonable price, than we sold him for ?
sorry if this has been covered

Wow 12 Mil is crazy, literally wouldn’t pay more than 1 Mil, I know he is young and started brightly on loan but faded very quickly. At that price too much of a risk for anyone.Patino is valued at 12m. If he goes anywhere it'll be a team like Leeds or Leicester.
Kitching is also highly rated isn’t he?We're basically buying the Barnsley back line
Liam Kitching is likely soon too apparently I've been told
Reminds me a bit of Fox and Dann this
First question: not your billy gilmour source is it? Second question: Any mention of a fee? We're basically buying the Barnsley back line

Fee would be high. Got 3 years left on his contractFirst question: not your billy gilmour source is it? Second question: Any mention of a fee?

They just signed middlesbroughs keeper on loanThey need a keeper. We dont need Moore
Thats apparently a sweetener but we'll see
Posh want a kings ransom for him apparently. Looking at £7.5m according to the Mail. How about Ronnie Edwards at Peterborough? 20 year old centre half and from what I’ve read he’s an excellent prospect

Had already signed hartlepool keeper so they have 2 nowThey've lost 2, had Isted on loan as welll as Collins
Would be two good signingsWe're basically buying the Barnsley back line

Loans got us to the play offs - Doyle, McNally, BNCPersonally I don’t want 18/19 year old loans, pissed off with polishing other teams starlets as we have with McNulty and Doyle. Loan to buy as we did with Sheaf I can go with at a push.
Problem is when they go you have to start again, and no compensation to spend in doing so.Loans got us to the play offs - Doyle, McNally, BNC
I couldn't agree more. As I said in another thread they also bring higher quality in most cases. Usually they stand out and it's not surprising considering they have trained with better players. Also as with players like Gyokeres, O'Hare and Sheaf sometimes we get the opportunity to sign them permanently. With 9 subs now we’d be foolish not to tap into the loan market as well as make some permanent acquisitions
Robins has an excellent record in the loan market tooI couldn't agree more. As I said in another thread they also bring higher quality in most cases.
