Still injured I believe, Sunderland fans seem to want £10m for him for some reason.

Mad that I see us a better destination than those clubs

Things have changed!

Think its best case we move on too. Surely someone like Cresswell could be a good option to move to.

Imagine getting Van Ewijk AND taking Cresswell away from Leeds. Double blow to a relegated Prem team would be a massive statement to the rest of the league.

I think Cresswell could be a long term successor to Fadz he’s of that mold imo

To be fair his games to goal ratio was better than Gyokeres if I recall, if Gyokeres goes for 20m 10 is fair

He missed another 3 months of the season with a hamstring injury.

That’s not two long term injuries though. He’s only had 3 injuries in his career. He’s not one that relies on pace either

Transfermarkt says 3 injuries, flash scores says 5. I'd suggest he probably has more than 3 in his career.

I assume they don’t consider niggles, most players if not all get them

I'd assumed that following relegation they'd be looking to keep him.

If it's true they were willing to let him go and we could afford it, I'd happily have him here (unless Leeds wanted Hamer as part of the deal, in which case they can f off)

Whatmough has officially left Wigan. Would be a decent pick up if we could also get a LCB.

Thomas
Lati
Fadz
Whatmough
Left footed CB

That would be us nicely set at CB

From the left sided centre backs we have been linked with he would be bottom of the list for me. Would much prefer Kitching, Panzo or Humphreys

Think we'll still be after 2 CBs, wouldn't say no to Whatmough and Kitching if Burnley are pricing us out of McNally.

Whatmough because of the experience he has at this level and I reckon he’d excel with a good team around him and Kitching because he’s young and very promising.

To be honest on reflection I know nothing about Whatmough it was a hasty statement. Feel spoilt with the fees we have spent and am expecting us to be splashing £2m on everyone like the Big Ron days. A few weeks back I had convinced myself those two Stevenage lads would have been good additions!
