Driving down Friday morning. Leaving between midnight and 2am. Just over 300 miles from here. Eldest lad has got leave from the army same day so meeting him at Yeovil train station. Spending Friday sampling the cider. Then hitting the pubs with the lad on Saturday whilst wife goes shopping. Lad will then have to meet the wife when I go to the game as he hasn't got a ticket :(

Astute, I think there will probably be room with the home fans if he fancies that.

He is a Motherwell supporter. Would go in with me as he does go to the occasional Cov game, but not sure about with the Yeovil fans. He can meet up with me after the game still.

Got some friends that have just moved to Yeovil, so I'm driving down with the wife, the girls are spending the day together and the lads are off to the football, then we'll drive back Sunday afternoon.

People driving - are there still a load of roadworks going on along the M5? Are people going the M5 route or an alternative one?

Hi just drove back from Cornwall, there is a small amount of road works on the M5 around Bristol, speed limit of 50 in place for around 5 miles, other than that no other problems.
I would expect to do the journey in around 3 hours, but I personally would leave early to get beyond Bristol before nine, then just chill in or around yeovil.
