I genuinely thought he was the safe not Trump option who'd stand aside for Harris this time around. Just getting to the ejection itself will be an achievement for him!Sad state of affairs isn't it. Biden simply shouldn't be running. Not at his age.

Exactly what I believed. I thought when appointed Harris, it was to to prepare her to take on the reigns after his first term. I never for a single minute thought he would run for a second term.I genuinely thought he was the safe not Trump option who'd stand aside for Harris this time around. I keep forgetting Kennedy is a Democrat
Family loyalty there
It doesn't really though, they ultimately all represent the same interestsNext US election Biden or Kennedy v Trump or De Santis.
It Almost makes our choice of Sunak or Starmer appear as though we live in a normal, functioning democracy instead of a bin fire.

Two of the few people I'm prepared to use the C word for in any companyWhat a horrible, horrible man. And Epstein's not much better.
Most of the time he struggles to walk, let alone run.Sad state of affairs isn't it. Biden simply shouldn't be running. Not at his age.
He shouldn't have selected her then. Her popularity ratings are poor - she wouldn’t get elected
Would love to see that again, but fact checked, because usually, nearly everything he says is complete bullshit.

He's a train wreck isn't he.Oh dear, another indictment for Trump.
Worryingly a serious US commentator saying on Radio 4 this morning that he has a more than 50% of winning the Presidency. He's a train wreck isn't he.
A liar, a cheat, a fraud, sexist, misogynist, racist and just about certifiably insane.
I will come back later and list all his bad points.
Nuts isn't it.Worryingly a serious US commentator saying on Radio 4 this morning that he has a more than 50% of winning the Presidency.
Absolutely. And of course he would then have the power to annul any convictions and/or prevent any further investigations. Democracy would be at serious risk in the US.Nuts isn't it.
And you just know, if he got back in, he would be 10 times worse. Because then you will have a vengeful, revenge-seeking president and he would feel he was truly invincible.
Scary.
Based on what? Would love to see their numbers…Worryingly a serious US commentator saying on Radio 4 this morning that he has a more than 50% of winning the Presidency.
It’s the natural way forward in our democratic evolutionary stateNuts isn't it.

I don't know but that's what I heard. Trump's popularity increases with each court case.Based on what? Would love to see their numbers…
The current polls are way too early and have Trump and Biden tied. But with the US economy doing very well and Trump looking at three different court cases?
With his base, sure (see: @dutchman)I don't know but that's what I heard. Trump's popularity increases with each court case.
The number 1 and 2 songs on the Billboard 100 are both singers who have been outed for being racist. I’m both cases as soon as that happened sales went through the roofWorryingly a serious US commentator saying on Radio 4 this morning that he has a more than 50% of winning the Presidency.
I don't know and I guess we can only wait and see but this guy seemed to know what he was talking about. They also had some crazy America First guy on but let's say I didn't feel so convinced by what he said. With his base, sure (see: @dutchman)
But his base wasn’t enough to beat Biden in 2020 and none of this is helping him persuade swing voters to change their minds. Especially when things are generally pretty healthy with the economy.
Just heard the segment myself - it was Joe Walsh (a former Republican congressman with, by his own admission, a history of racist posts on Twitter) and Seb Gorka (a former Trump admin official who now works as a host on Newsmax and a part-time fish oil salesman).I don't know and I guess we can only wait and see but this guy seemed to know what he was talking about. They also had some crazy America First guy on but let's say I didn't feel so convinced by what he said.

Biden's margin of victory in a lot of states last time was very slender, I'm not sure he can get away with just not being Trump one more time. The issue will be if there are enough people galvanised to vote for a rapidly aging Biden. There is a real likelihood that trump being indicted - especially for the riots - will galvanise the Republicans against a very apathetic opposition.
If Biden goes with Harris again as his running mate then he’s going to be in trouble
What has Trump done since 2020 to endear himself further to the swing voters he alienated during his first term?Biden's margin of victory in a lot of states last time was very slender, I'm not sure he can get away with just not being Trump one more time.
