Oh, I know Musk has but hadn’t seen anything from trump. He does appear to have a bit of an affinity to U.K. but not sure that will supersede the issues he might have the members of the government

Well first time round he had his men in charge of the UK so I assume you’ve got a raft of things he did then that helped us?

He didnt seem to really understand the UK as this was his take on a trade deal:

A trade deal which never happened.

He's got no 'affinity' for anyone other than himself.

There's literally no one he wouldn't throw under the bus to either promote himself, or make himself richer, or ideally, both.

If you've not noticed that, then you've really not been paying attention.

The USA does not care about the UK or have any affinity to it. The USA just views the rest of the world as potential consumers of US corporation sold goods and services, that's about it.

Ahh right.

I liked, in my mind, someone introducing themselves or identifying as a "low information person".

Basing your entire political worldview on “whatever will annoy 50% of the population” is deeply weird.

I think anyone should be open to prosecution and entitled to due process - that’s how the justice system should work. The alternative is this bizarre situation where presidents just arbitrarily dole out protection to their political allies and family members like they’re handing out shields on The Traitors or something.

Trump incited an insurrection to prevent the transfer of power and not only has he been allowed to stand for and then regain said power, he swore revenge on the people who called out what he did the first time. Had the pardons not been given these people would be finding themselves in prison at the whim of the President.

Also 'anyone should be open to prosecution'. The President quite literally isn't, and it's Trump's judge picks who made that reality.

Exactly. Dems, or anyone are forced to stoop to his level to protect themselves. Anything is possible now.

It's not a surprise why so many media and other companies have invested time in kissing Trump's ring, they want to avoid being censored or closed down.

Not a fascist pig at all is he.

It's disgraceful, he has pardoned his Son, his Brother all the people involved in the Jan 6th trials and Anthony Fauci.
The good news is that Fauci can still be prosecuted under state law and held liable in civil actions.

Talk about an arse backwards take! He wants the biggest job in the world so that he can be the biggest star in the world. Also, so he can line his pockets.

Blimey, look at the bloke's history and what he's literally doing right now, and then let's talk about who is actually suffering from a delusion.

I agree it’s absurd, and I would want a president who rejects that approach to justice, who stands for something different.

Apparently Biden isn’t that president.

Don't trouble them with an actual factual analysis, mate, you're wasting your time. The people that support him think that tariffs and kicking out migrant workers will somehow reduce inflation and solve all of America's problems.

In the meantime the outrage over Biden's pardons whilst completely ignoring Trump's support for violently overturning a free and fair election, is just plain rank hypocrisy. Either you believe in democracy and the rule of law applying to everyone, or you don't.

From where I sit it's not really worth the argument. Some of them perhaps genuinely support Trump, some of them are probably just trolls. None of them are interested in the facts, I suspect.
