Looking around, Brentford are paying 70 million for a new 17500 stadium, so I'd say that figure they've stated is probably a little below reality tbh.
But either way, I'm not a stadium designer / construction manager so couldn't really say what's true or not
The trust constantly bang on about how there is no way sisu will build a stadium, and I agree with them.
So what is the point of this article?

It's a bit random isn't it?

Aren't we?
Without knowing the ins / outs and this will probably be shut down straight away, but I imagine the cost of land in that part of London is significantly higher than the same land in Coventry. You may be talking about just construction costs, so if so, please ignore me.Looking around, Brentford are paying 70 million for a new 17500 stadium, so I'd say that figure they've stated is probably a little below reality tbh.

To get people around to the idea that the Ricoh is the only viable option...
To benefit who?
They are just trying to force sisu to quitThere's a lot of puzzling stuff going on at the minute.
Key to it all is what stalled the talks. General consensus is wasps wanting indemnity against losses from the EC complaint but I think there was/Is more to it

They've more than likely at least part financed by selli g their old ground.
They're able to that as the local council issued compiulsary purchase orders for land around the proposed stadium. Imagine that, a council assisting the local football club. The enabling development to fund the stadium includes a residential led development comprising over 900 apartments surrounding the stadium together with the conversion of the existing ground to family housing.
No but as wasps have banned the club from the stadium in Coventry why is that not the focus of his attention.
How many years ago did Fisher start banging on about a new stadium? Why have the trust waited until now to do this.To get people around to the idea that the Ricoh is the only viable option...
Is it a coincidence that it comes not long after Duggins dropped the council in the shit by admitted the club had enquired about council owned land.

Level of cooperation that must be going is unbelievable isn’t it? Somebody somewhere obviously thinks they’re going to make a nice wedge from obtaining the club on the cheap.
