Stop whining like a little bitch. They had support from before the game up until the 96th minute. So yes, magnificent support. A small chorus of collective boo's after the game following a 3rd game without a goal, 4th game since victory, the failure to break down ten men against a side who have been shipping goals and having no plan B will perhaps give the players AND manager a kick up the arse to make them realize a) it wasn't good enough and b) something needs to change. Should they be cheered off and lauded to the high heavens for failure? I'm not saying that in jest, seriously. As I said last night, in the heat of the moment it happened, people were angry, it happens.

No, telling them it wasn't good enough and discussing it. It would be just weird shouting wanker at someone (as the bloke did with Fisher at the train station). The thing is, booing players off - albeit very rarely - doesn't achieve anything, it purely just shows frustration. The players probably do think it's disgraceful, but they're big boys and I'm sure they're accustomed to such reactions by now. As I've said it's not something I make a habit of but yesterday was not good, AGAIN.

Why do you keep asking if they should be applauded cheered off and lauded for their failure? No one has said that so it's a shit argument.

People booing and throwing wankers signs will be the first to complain next week if people don't have the confidence to shoot or cross it it and just play the safe negative back pass.

No I honestly couldn't give a monkeys. People who had a problem with me booing for a few measly seconds as I walked down the steps yesterday, could've quite easily confronted me about it. It's not as if I made a beeline for the front of the hoardings and singled each one of them out.

I can sort of understand the people abusing Tim Fisher, maybe not the way they go about it but it's easy to see why. When it's the players it's baffling.

I just did answer. I'd just walk out and go home on the full time whistle, it isn't a difficult question to answer so not sure why you are giving it the "nobody has been able to answer line".

It is a shit argument, because the way you are going on you would think you have to just applaud, whoop and cheer the players or boo and abuse them with nothing in between.

No of course it wouldn't morally, because they are labelled as 'professionals' but it's only what they're thinking anyway. It's both the players and management who didn't do their jobs yesterday. Are you telling me that you didn't boo once at full time last season during the ridiculous amount of games that we lost and shocking performances that went with it?

Yes I am telling you that. I'd be pissed off and just go home when the whistle went rather than standing around. If we played well I'd hang about a bit longer and applaud.

So what you are saying is that in the stands when there are loads of people there it's OK for you to abuse the players, you wouldn't do it if it was just you and a player and if the players said anything back it would be wrong.

It's not accepting it just because you aren't giving it the wanker signs to the players with the safety of being in the stands knowing they can't say anything back.

A lot of the time you can tell from the players faces and body language they are just as gutted as the fans. You have already said they were sheepish when they came over.

Well that's your prerogative. And yes I do the same, praise is warranted where it is due. If we stick 4 past port vale next week then we will all be praising every single one of them. If I'd have been the only fan in that stand yesterday I'd have still booed. It was the feeling I wished to express at the time.

I can understand the fans frustrations yesterday, however it's not as though the team didn't create anything, far from it. I've seen far worse performances last season, notably Cambridge away in the cup; I did boo then. Yesterday I neither booed or clapped, just extremely disappointed that Robins didn't change his tactics and push for the win.

Yesterday was clearly a lot of "what ifs", if McNulty could hit a door with his own head then we'd be happy with a probable yet narrow win.

Again, there is a focused pressure on a striker who is not an out and out goal scorer; he looks and moves like an attacking midfielder and his intelligence is wasted on being a no.9.

MR had to grab what he could pre-season, so we have to hope this is a 'bedding in' phase, where a single spark of luck and fortune could propel the teams confidence somewhat.

You pay your money so as long as it's within the law you are entitled to criticise players in any way you wish.
Personally I believe abuse of players is counter productive and breeds 'fear' on the pitch and an unwillingness to do anything that isn't safe. Hence playing it along the back line with a few minutes to go.

Again you do not pay their wages. They legally have to be paid whether you, I or any other fan go the matches or not.
Surely there is a better way of making your feelings known than booing?
'All we want is success' success isn't overnight? This team has only just been put together, they aren't going to become world beaters overnight, success takes time.
I don't see how not booing is accepting mediocrity?

We ain't good enough and fans know it and fear the worse. As for booing what else can supporters do, they've spent money probably over. 100 quid and got shite in return and let's not forget the boos were for the manager too, he selects the players and tactics, seen as a bit of a messiah at the moment that will soon change unless he looks at the teams he picks and the method of play employed the booing will intensify I believe. Remember we are about 12 places from non league, think about it.
