Would you have thought in just two years we would be on the brink of being back in the championship?According to my phone, we won the playoff final!
After taking just my son to Wembley the previous year, my daughter came as well this time.
Stayed with family near London for a great evening beforehand, met cousin and nephews on the day (after a family meal of pizza) - probably less beer than many of you, but we had a great day.
Looking at the photos, it did just seen sky blue all around Wembley....
When I was leaving that stadium, yes.Would you have thought in just two years we would be on the brink of being back in the championship?

Like TTG, was hopeful when we left Wembley. Kids thought we'd win league (though they haven't got years of disappointment / experience)....Would you have thought in just two years we would be on the brink of being back in the championship?

Much better seats second game and sang all the way through. The noise was deafening.I was at the checktrade trophy final atmosphere couldn't make the play off final. Which was the better atmosphere?

I'd say the checkatrade was more of a party atmosphere as it was a day out at Wembley and the result didn't really matter. The playoff felt a lot more edgy in the first have and then elated afterwards.I was at the checktrade trophy final atmosphere couldn't make the play off final. Which was the better atmosphere?

We sat in the exact same seats, they are now our lucky Wembley seats and will make sure if we're there again to book them as soon as they come on sale.Much better seats second game and sang all the way through. The noise was deafening.
My daughter had spinal surgery on the checkatrade final weekend and I left her in intensive care for the final (with mum of course), however she came to the play off final so based on that the second game was better
I agree with liquid gold, the checkatrade was a good party atmosphere whereas the playoff was a bit more nervy (for me anyway!).I'd say the checkatrade was more of a party atmosphere as it was a day out at Wembley and the result didn't really matter. Losing finalists always feck off p.d.q after the final whistle. Not surprisingly, they wouldn't have wanted to hear 43,000 living it up, particularly as they had lost the final the previous year too. What surprised me at the Chackatrade was the speed that the Oxford end emptied at the end of the match. I'm sure that if we had lost the SBA would have stayed on, still singing.
