You’d like to think we’re more attractive than Lincoln city, imagine sunderland up against them for a player or pompey
I wonder though if we miss out on walker and bright, who else robins has lined up?Sunderland are a bigger fish than us. Pompey? You’ll have to get back to me on that one. How we’ll do this season I dunno. But Lincoln are in my top 6.

Not much of a secret!!Someone good I hope. But Bright, imo, is the key. And the secret.
An expected average gate next season double ours?
An expected average gate next season double ours?
Their gates will be bigger than ours for oneHow would Lincoln pay more than us
Why is it a joke? It makes a lot of sense for himHere we go then, selling players to balance the books and being outbid by Lincoln... if he goes them over us then it’s a fucking joke
Just the Cowley brothers as well as a windfall from a great cup run. They've just been invigorated, really enjoyed the game at Lincoln the other year, great to see a full ground with an atmosphereCan I ask what was the catalyst for Lincoln’s rise up the leagues? Is it purely the Conley brothers’ influence or have they had significant financial backing I’ve missed?
Amazing what happens when you play in your home city

Amazing what happens when the council doesn't sell the football stadium to a franchise rugby team from London

Would say he’s the key to a better waa-aaaay?
Yep, that’s the entirety of the situation, no more nuance to be found.
Come on, that's too sensible of a reply! An expected average gate next season double ours?
Great to see you have finally acknowledged reality.Yep, that’s the entirety of the situation, no more nuance to be found.
Sorry did I say ccfc transfer dealings? CVD, quoted someone talking about the workings of transfers. If anyone needed a basic understanding of transfer dealings then sky sports would be a good place to start.
To be honest it’s no worse than the Telegraph - Robins complements a striker as the benchmark in the league and BAM he’s Robins top target. This thread is going to look embarassing if we dont sign Walker.
How did this even start, did someone just pick a random player that scored 20+ goals in League 2 and, BAM, he's going to join Cov?
Yep it is a fair commentCome on, that's too sensible of a reply!
I was in complete agreement with you until you said Sky Sports... the company that can literally publish stories to change betting patterns, oh yeah, a market that they are also in.

What I don't get with us is we always sell our strikers straight away without a replacement signed and sealed. Yet others who we try and buy from won't sell until they have replacements in the door. We really need to change our approach to signing strikers.

Because, if rumours are to be believed, we've already signed the deal for Walker, we're just waiting for Forest to complete their end.
