:wave:Hi guy's. This is my first EVER, so please dont judge. What I wanted to discuss was the little number of fans at the Ricoh, week in week out. We saw that the 32000 seater stadium could be filled on 7th March 2009 against Chelsea. But that game proved that we have glory supporters, which I for one do not care for one bit. We need supporters at the ground every game to cheer on the side.
We also see the lack of support in the Marlon King saga. People claiming that if a deal is signed for Marlon King, that they we no longer be supporting the club, which i think is utterly pathetic. One player does not change a club and what he has done does not change the way he is going to play. I fo one will support Marlon King in whatever decision he makes for the future of his career and I wouldlove to see him pull on a Coventry City shirt this season and score some goals.
I would love to hear your opinions on this discussion. Thank You.

I've been supporting Coventry for 47 years, during that time I've held season tickets, stood on The West End, got to every ground in Division1, and attended friendlies and youth matches.
Now I only go to half a dozen games a year. I work shifts, for a start so last time I had a season ticket 3 seasons ago, I missed loads of matches because they switched the games for television. Last year I went to a few home games, and Leicester away, this year will probably be about the same.
Am I less a supporter than someoen who currently goes to every game ?
Don't know ~ don't care.
As for King - if you truley believe that this man's past behaviour is mitigated because he happens to be able to kick a football, then I would suggest that you have such a narrow life view that your opinion of other people's views is worthless.
There's pep ou there now claiming we should get rid of Aidy. What a oad of bollocks. We have lost 1 game... All these fans saying that must have manic depression or something. One game doesnt mean anythings. I could maybe undertandAidyout if e were on like a 15 match losingstreak, ut were not, we have got 7 points in 4 games and to me thats quite good.
F**k Me they must have forgotten we are in the Championship, not the Champions League.....Some fans are pretty pathetic to be honest, I think Aidy is doing a great job. It wasn't in his game plan for Baker to get sent off and then to concede a penalty but these things happen when it just isn't your day and some fans don't understand how difficult it is getting points away from home for any team. They think we should play like Brazil everywhere we go and win the league outright.
What a great way to attract fans - ban anyone who says something you disagree with ! :slap:
What about trying to attract new female fans and children by playing a man on the sex offenders list .
