It has been a frustrating time in the transfer window for a number of reasons. But Mogga has the 'numbers' for a squad.

Sterry will make a big impact for the club.

We would have liked a central defender. We didn't get one.

The initial choice for striker went and went in for Andre later in the day.

We will explore out of contract players. There's a reason they are out of contract. We made contact with one today. We want players who will take the club forward. People aren't coming in yet. We will explore players out of contract and then see.

We were interested in players but the 1st choices weren't available at centre back and up front.

We are trying to create a competitive environment. Lots of good young players but we don't have L1 experienced players.

It's not been easy and it's been really difficult to recruit. Players are too expensive and inflated.

I talk with Mogga all the time and see what options we can get for players. I source the players for the manager and Mogga makes a decision.

I understand how football fans feel with frustrating start this year. We would have liked more players but we couldn't. We are trying to build a squad the fans can identify with. I hope the team can start winning.

Newcastle have been very good to us. They appreciate what we did with Adam. They know players are safe and play the right way at Cov.

Cian Harries has had a great start to the season. Adapted quickly to the 1st team. Always improving. Very talented. He's shown the manager he's worth it. Potential to play at a high level.

Doesn't he sound young on the radio.
He sounds taller . someone named Nick tweeted having a go at Nigel and Juggy . I wonder if it is Nick off here ?

I like what they have put together. Sourcing players is tough. They will need time to gel and I think it will be a tough season.

Really looking forward to see if these youngsters can develop. Much rather support youngsters trying to establish themselves rather than a 'name' come for a final pay cheque.

I like that it is Venus sourcing the players and Mowbray saying yes or no.
Shame we didn't get our first choices I bet they were class.

We dont know if they didnt want to play here or were just offered more money elsewhere. Kelvin Wilson is a prime example, quite clearly above our level and offered championship football on championship wages. If this is the types of player we've been targeting perhaps we should have been more realistic with your targets.

Also the villa lad fell through because they wouldn't let him out on loan until he committed to a new deal.

Didn't we have that CB who everyone thought had signed then he went elsewhere? Forget his name now. And obviously the Villa lad that fell through. That's probably who he's talking about.

Gives me hope there's a CB coming, though that's tainted by him talking up Harries. I like the lad, but I don't think his first season he should be first choice every game.
