But why though! It's not like he even spoke to another club or anything. In today's CT re Tudgay and Ricketts...
''...to be honest I put it on hold a little bit when the manager's situation was in the press''
Clearly TM's right hand man was not confident he would stay.
But why though! It's not like he even spoke to another club or anything.
Given Venus was supposed to be in the same interview at Rotherham his comments make little sense do they?
Have I missed something about TM? Coventry Telegraph refers to the manager's situation?
Later the club said there was no approach, make of that what you will. Was a few weeks ago... TM linked to the Rotherham job and rumored to have had an interview.
I believe TM and MV have been promised extra funds for coming season. That is why they are still here and will give this season a real push. Bodes well, in my opinion.
Based on?
Fingers crossed, Neal.We will see in the next few weeks based on our recruitment policy for next season.

That's the spirit!I didn't believe or disbelieve what you said before, but I like this one, so I'll believe you this time.
Personally I'd renew Tudgay but not Rickets.not convinced we should keep either rickets or tudgay
Rickets an inspirational guy
Young players respect him and will learn so much from him by training and playing with him
that inspirational that he hasn't committed to a club who has offered him a contract extention ?

They don't actually. Footballers are not like 'job for life' employees. They sign short contracts and generally expect to move around. If you are successful clubs will come Knocking, no success at the moment and not looking good this season, players need some stability we have none
Really? But why though! It's not like he even spoke to another club or anything.

You could be right Neal, it looks like we are trying to sign real quality this season, as I'd have thought we would have been in for some of the fairly decent players who have recently signed for other league one clubs
