If they do not get something sorted quickly its conference football within two years full stop- We had a decent team start and middle way through season that leaked goals but scored a plenty but only managed to escape relegation by the skin of our teeth - without the best goalkeeper in the division Murphy who actually kept us up, Christie, Moussa, Clark, possibly Wilson and baker to name a few all the seniors players gone -it has been tried and tested all over the world young inexperienced hopefuls will not win you trophies or keep you from relegation -Pressley's is also better than this and it will not take long for his enthusiasm and talking things up to finally end after getting beaten every week

A relegation battle in L2 is far more realistic than a play off push in the championship.

This is SISU. We are talking about.

Relegate us to L1.
Move CCFC to Northampton.
Major increases in debt.

Yet some still defend them!

Unbelievable Jeff! As Kammy would say.

nope, we stayed up due to pre xmas form.

Post xmas form all season would have meant relegation wouldnt it ?

If I got shot in the head I would probably be dead, but I didn't and I'm not.

People were all saying we were relegated at the start of the season....

The 2nd half of last season was alarmly poor. Since then we have lost Moussa, Christie and more than likely Murphy. "current form" would suggest we have a fight on our hands next season

Yes, but we didn't get relegated did we?

Wrong Norman. Quite apart from the fact that you haven't got a clue about where I get my tickets, get all my tickets from the opponents ticket office. Not a penny to Sisu.
You get really uppity when anyone disagrees with you, don't you. The foul mouth bile level goes up quite a bit.

We got relegated this season didn't we?

Without the goals from Clarke we would have been relegated well before the end of the season. And we don't have him next season. As well as a few players most probably that were amongst our best players last season.

Are you not even a tad worried about next season Nick?

But isn't that like that poster's comment on here last week when he had that bet at the bookies for Derby to beat QPR and when QPR were victorious he said Derby should have won even though they didn't?

Pretty sure the bookies wouldn't pay out based on Derby losing but deserving to win.

Had Clake gone at the beginning of the season we might have got someone else in who could have got the goals. All ifs buts and maybes.

Fact is we weren't relegated and the season is based on 46 games. Can't just point to a period of poor form. No guarantee whatsoever that we will carry that poor form into the new season. Usually, new season brings new optimisim and hope.

So there is a fair bit of doubt in there then. Shall we see how the kids gel in the side before we get confident?

We also need to see if we get another points deduction. SISU don't seem to be in a rush to pay the 590k. Depending on when any points deduction would go we could even start in Division 4. The money should have been paid that gave SISU the golden share just after the end of the season. And we know it isn't being paid on time. The FL said they reserve the right to punish our club. The good news could end up being that the points don't come off from last season. The bad news could be that we start on minus whatever points........without Clarke who we were shit without :(

Isn't it good that our optimism should rest on a might and could?

So what other words am I not allowed to use without someone bringing up a past manager?

And I wish I had your optimism.

Like the ones at arsenal you mean?

I never went to Arsenal because of my NOPM ethic, however the fans that did go have my respect because they took the opportunity to make a stand and did with enough style and effort that it also made me proud to be a CCFC fan. Regardless of how much money went into sisu's pocket it was worth it.

With the exception of 3 female attendees of suxfields I feel the exact opposite to them.

I went to the hill once last year and what I witnessed in the stands disgusted me. They may only be there to support the team, it's just a shame that they've forgotten why they support the team in the first place. How else can you explain their lack of action.

From the players and manager I meant. Us fans start from a position of self-loathing and then from that point onwards it is all downhill.

The problem is, our situation probably doesn't help. Any struggling business sees morale dip, as it's hard to motivate yourself when you know you might be out the door the next day, so it becomes self preservation rather than working for the greater good.

Now last season, what Pressley did superbly was galvanise that into an us against the world mentality. Hard to see lightening striking twice mind you.

Then again, the youngsters are all a year wiser...

You have given yourself a big spectrum to be right there.. A good chance of slotting in somewhere between those parameters.

I'm saying mid table :) Iwas saying not winning the league as to some by me not agreeing we will be relegated automatically means I support sisu and think we will go up and have a new stadium etc

We struggled for mid table with decent players we are going to be without. Reality will hit home soon if things don't change.
