How good are these two together ..vincelot mops everything up , does a great job all game and this is allowing john fleck to perform to probably the highest level i have seen him in a city shirt .
These two are key to us this season ..the back 4 especially reda and sam are having comfortable games partly because of these two.
Long may it continue we are a joy to watch at the moment .
Saying that we also have alot of talent accross the midfield and forward line at the moment .
Our ball retention is quality with 62% possession away at millwall showing that .
I have already seen a couple of walsall fans say that they are dreading playing us next week .
In mowbray we trust PUSB

I think we all know how much ability Fleck has, the problem is the players around him in the past year or so have been below level needed for him to perform.

Fleck looks a different player.

Like it's been said, maybe he's needed the players around him to flourish.

Also, he seems a lot fitter, and more pace, than previous seasons.

I'd be suprised if any team in the league has better central partnerships than Ricketts/Reda and Fleck/Vincelot. That's a really solid spine.

And with the creativity of Maddison, Lameiras and the pace of Armstrong and Murphy in front of them, suddenly it all looks very promising!

Vincelot has been a fantastic signing and Fleck has flourished alongside Vincelot so far. Makes such a difference to have a quality ball winning holding midfielder in the team which allows technically gifted players to express themselves in an attacking sense. Fleck has always had the ability and this could be the year when he finally becomes a fans favourite by showing his initial potential.

The best thing about Vincelot is you don't really notice him too much during the game. A crunching tackle here and a square ball there. But he breaks the opposition up and sets us going. Giving stability to the team and slowing other players to do their thing. A great signing

Yep. One of 3 main cogs, along with Ricketts and Armstrong up front.

Nothing spectacular, but he does the simple things very well, adds a bit of steel and bite and also has a degree of calmness about him.

Even if Vincelot's sole achievement at the end of the season was to support Fleck in finally reaching his early potential, that would be enough.

The fact he appears to be the perfect foil and provides the grit we have been missing for years, makes RV a very astute signing.

With a bit more composure Armstrong could have had 5. Imagine being able to say "I saw him before he played for England." +1 VIPi n the crowd on Tuesday?

Was it fleck that TM was talking highly about on CWR after the match saying something along the lines of you won't find a player with a better first touch or passer of the ball in this league?

Along those lines. Some thing like "We'll I don't know every player in the league, bit he'd have to be some player to be better than Fleck" when talking about his range of passing I think.

I love how down to earth TM is "well I haven't seen every player yet".

Fleck needs to add goals to his game, he's got the ability to get double figures.

He won't get to double figures because he's not the type of player, he's a deep lying playmaker not a number 10.
