If he is the one that signs them, then all I can say to Waggot is thank you for finding Pennington, Samuel and Odelusi, whom are the stand out players of this dreadful season.
Samuel's goals come May might of kept us up.
:thinking about:
this is where the confusion is...is it Waggott or is it the manager, or a combination of both? I think players brought in have been improving as the season progressed. the Bournemouth deal was poor, Pugh on paper seemed a good one but injury? Has spoilt it.
Johnson as a full back when fit has looked okay. Too many gambles though, let's hope they kick start their careers again type players have come in. Sometimes I have felt we have brought people in just because we need the bodies...panic signings.
the lad from Brentford seemed a strange one as it was between Managers, and does not seem one that will not pay dividends (he will probably go and keep us up now I've said that).
we really do need to improve our scouting and vetting system as it has been poor the last 2-4 years at least. Another example of fans seeing it but the club not tackling the issue properly. Sometimes you have to spend money in order to save it in the long run....a proper scouting system and data base is one of those areas.
I know I criticise SISU a lot but it is not like I am willing them to fail, I just get frustrated in their lack of ideas and their seeming lack of ability to turn things around. If you really don't want to sell the club lets at least start getting organised. I can accept budgets and I can accept long term plans. But SISU please, we need to start making some in roads in how this club needs to be structured for the long term.
