Incredibly ill-informed bunch polluting that thread. Complete lack of understanding of the situation here. They talk about 'cheating' and liken us to Swindon. The difference is, we do pay our tax bills, we do pay suppliers etc., the issue relates to the rent which is the subject of a dispute. Most of us believe that SISU are not broke and could pay the arrears if they had to (or wanted to).
Either way, it will all come to a head. We'll either go into administration and they can all rejoice, or we'll pay up so they'll have nothing to bleat about.
I understand the argument about paying players big wages while withholding payments to HMRC and Joe Bloggs & Co., but this is different and doesn't fall into the realm of deliberate cheating in the way they describe (whatever you think about SISU theie intention is not about gaining an unfair advantage on the pitch as I see it).

I understand the argument about paying players big wages while withholding payments to HMRC and Joe Bloggs & Co. who supply office stationery, but this is different and doesn't fall into the realm of deliberate cheating in the way they describe (whatever you think about SISU theie intention is not about gaining an unfair advantage on the pitch).
Ferret. Good to have your view. I'm of the same opinion. The only real case against us presently appears to be that we might be spending above the 75% rate this season in the knowledge that no sanction exists for this. As you say, the rent issue feels to be a dispute over how we go from here, more than a last grasp financial situation (though appreciate it could very well be this).
I expect the general hatred and dislike is more generated from a general envy of our relative size - enjoyment and glee in seeing a 'big' man fall and all that.

What do you expect from a bunch of Yam Yam's. Nice to see these tin pot clubs being so jealous of us, they obviously have not been watching for the SISU years.
The last thing people should do is try and explain it to a bunch of Walsall fans who are obviously in the know. Because, well, who cares about Walsall?!
