Interestingly Liam Walsh hasn’t made the City squad for today’s game V Weds.

Just hoping that happens for the rest of the season and we get him back on loan!!!

Think the rules are different in the Championship to the Prem. They can play so long as the team they were loaned to isn't involved in the play offs or something along those lines.

He can't play unless a number of conditions are met which includes not being able to fill the team sheet unless he plays. Any u23 player that has played at least one game also has to play before him.

Unless BC have an injury crisis of epic proportion he can't play.

Exactly right.
Wrongly reported elsewhere before they'd seen the conditions that need to be met:
  • - the Player is returning from a curtailed division
  • - the Transferee Club has not qualified to participate in a Play-Off Competition
  • - without including the Player on the Team Sheet, the Transferor Club would be unable to fulfil all available places on the Team Sheet
  • - the Transferor Club gives priority to its under 23 players, Scholars and other Academy Players who have made at least one First Team appearance in a League Match (or a Premier League Match) for the Transferor Club; and
  • - the Player has not been on loan to more than one Club during Season 2019/20."

Can we dimiss this Walsh love in? We have replaced him already apparently with a 1.2m agreement for Gustav Hamer who arrives for a medical on Monday so say reports.
