If he's in the last year of his contract, he might not be on a massive amount, but if Brizzle do resign him, I think that would be the point at which we couldn't do business. The fee would probably be less the problem will be wages Bristol are likely to be paying a lot more than we can offer
what a fuckin beast, love him
a gauranteed place in the premiership!:joyful::joyful:Wonder what Villa would want for O'Hare
not how Sol sees it :-Well that wasn’t a yellow
The key is getting back to the Ricoh and having a good take-up on season tickets.
I'm sure in one of our previous (broken) agreements with the London wasps that we were getting/going to get at least a portion of the drinks/food revenue?not sure I agree. We don’t get access to income from food and drink, revenues outside of the game, etc. We still won’t be able to compete financially

And Southend staff and supporters were furious with the referee's decision to keep Dabo on the field after, while already on a yellow, he miss-timed a poor challenge on the half-way line.
“For me, he was sliding and he was out of control,” said a furious Campbell to Southend Echo.
Looked like a bit of "get your own back" after a late tackle by the guy on Dabo to me
Go back a year, delete O"Hare and Walsh and we were having the same conversations about Thomas and Bright.
I am sure the management have got a plan B and C on the drawing board however the season ends.
Don’t see Dabo going anywhere personallyabsolutely spot on !!!
its a big season, but not a make or break. We could already field a very strong team next season and that's assuming no loanees stay and dabo goes, let alone new signings after MR has been promised money.
we are fighting on 2 fronts, on the field and off the field. We are winning on the field thanks to MR. We are 7 years on from the stadium building plans to enable us to finally compete in the top 2 divisions....
absolutely spot on !!!

completely agree, but suspected most would disagree if we stayed in league one, so we trying to balance the debate

I think the biggest issue will be keeping hold of Robins
Clever use of the loan market. At nest our wage bill will be £4 million lower than the next lowest in the division care to actually explain how we will compete?
Wow! Didn't know Max has a brother!just to be clear, I mean If we stay in league one before anyone jumps on me thinking this is in the championship. In the league above we have a real issue with many things without a stadium of our own. Pressure needs to be on CCC and SISU to come up with a solution ! The Ricoh isn't a medium / long term option for us
This is a great start to a push next season if we fall short this season...

You haven't answered the question below, moved from another thread - but here you go again, - "Our wage bill WILL be £4 million lower than the lowest in the division" How do you know this?At nest our wage bill will be £4 million lower than the next lowest in the division care to actually explain how we will compete?
Yep-you have been speaking to the same person I have then.Heard from a reliable source that we are already enquiring about signing Walsh permanently in the summer. No surprise really,it’s just a case of whether we can pull it off or not.

Am concerned that in these upcoming ( big ) games he will be targeted for a reaction much like the one on Saturday.Dabo?
Was there more in the challenge than in the video ?Because it looks like he over reacted massively .

Can I question you on your ability to state as fact that we would have been promoted with a different keeper to Burge, or that we'd have been promoted by now with a "decent striker"?
Noone can do this - even you, unless you can predict/change history. In which case, what numbers should I pick to definitely win next weeks lottery?
It would surely be better to say "we'd probably have been promoted", which IS true.
Dabo is my favourite player by a long shot.
Absolute engine, loves a challenge, and got a bit of a naughty streak in him which I am a big fan of. Things like booting the ball away earlier, snapping that player last week
